Wow, what a great report, yorkie, thank you. I can’t believe that poor Amy didn’t make it to the event!! We went to the Sonoita/Elgin tea party yesterday and listened to Tom Tancredo and Don Goldwater and a whole bunch of other AZ candidates for districts, governor, senator....
To: Borax Queen
Was it a good turnout, BQ? I respect Tom Tancredo, and his determination to fight the losing battle we have been facing for so long, now. (I wish I could have gone with you!)
To: DollyCali
That is a lovely graphic, Dolly, and the words have a strong impact, don’t they?
To: MEG33; All
Thank you, Meg, for the perfect graphic and scripture for today.

I so wish you were here with me (or me there)!!!
Yes, a fantastic showing, I heard them say 500 and I would concur, maybe even more with people coming and going. The hall was completely packed and standing room only — but very comfortable and we could see all the speakers really well. John Munger (from Tucson) was there for gov and Deakin was there for the senatorial position. Also, Goldwater filled in for JD Hayworth.
I didn’t get to meet a lot of people -— we got there just before the speeches started, but saw a lot of old friends from the CD8 campaigns (the one the evil Gabby Giffords, Pelosi’s puppet, won the last two times), and did meet some of her opponents this time/2010.
I was amazed by the quality of the young men running against Gabby. All 4 combat vets, 3 in their 30s (I’m guessing, possibly even younger) and 1 early 40s (I think) -— remarkable speakers and true patriots. Shaking hands with everyone and introducing themselves, they seemed really sincere. I wish we could put all 4 in offices now instead of the leftists we have all over the state....
Paton’s campaign manager (I know him from the old days) told me that Gabby and Paton are running neck-in-neck in the polls. That must be why I haven’t seen the communist papers release any polls yet....

Oh and 4th time I’ve seen Tom T. down here, twice in Tucson (one breakfast that leftists infiltrated and disrupted), once in Sierra Vista, and then yesterday in Sonoita. I must be a groupie.... lol
To: Borax Queen
“Groupie” - LOL! What better patriot to follow all over the country?
As you know, I was planning on going to Searchlight, but my little furry kid is not well, and I just couldn’t board her in the kennel for four days. Not now.
So, I cancelled all reservations, and from the looks of things, it was probably for the best. There is no way I could have walked miles and miles, pushing my friend in a chair. It would have just been too much.
Glad you enjoyed your meeting!

The Itty Bitty Kitty Crew
We are The Ltty Bitty Kitty Crew
Always ready to discover some place that's nice and bright and new
As long as it is relatively close and accessible within one leap
Makes it easy for us to decide whether to discard or keep
The secret of our discovery amongst us and how to best exploit
Its advantages, especially if pleasant to our tastes most adroit
Such as the silky soft sheets and downy pillows of Our Pretty One's bed
That with little effort caress so delicately from toe to head
Even youngest Theodora, who takes creature comforts seriously
Is quite enamored of our most recent and luscious discovery
As is handsomely Tuxedoed Malcolm who strikes a protective brother pose
While ever vigilant Chloe slowly splays and flexes her tufted fingers and toes
I check the fit of my basic black Tuxedo and resist with an iron will
The desire to Nap while pondering if we four have the collective skill
To one day soon attempt to challenge and conquer that wide warm Window Sill

I read the thread last night and saw the news. I was so sorry Amy didn't get to hear Sarah and the Rally but was so glad to hear she was comfortable in her room for the night and all was well! What a crowd they had!! Wonderful!
If anyone is interested the Rally will be shown on Cspan tonight at 6:30 and 9:30 P.M.!
I checked the thread out last night and everything posted was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the sad kitties. I wanted to post but it was too late. Wishing everyone a peaceful Palm Sunday.
