Was it a good turnout, BQ? I respect Tom Tancredo, and his determination to fight the losing battle we have been facing for so long, now. (I wish I could have gone with you!)
I so wish you were here with me (or me there)!!!
Yes, a fantastic showing, I heard them say 500 and I would concur, maybe even more with people coming and going. The hall was completely packed and standing room only — but very comfortable and we could see all the speakers really well. John Munger (from Tucson) was there for gov and Deakin was there for the senatorial position. Also, Goldwater filled in for JD Hayworth.
I didn’t get to meet a lot of people -— we got there just before the speeches started, but saw a lot of old friends from the CD8 campaigns (the one the evil Gabby Giffords, Pelosi’s puppet, won the last two times), and did meet some of her opponents this time/2010.
I was amazed by the quality of the young men running against Gabby. All 4 combat vets, 3 in their 30s (I’m guessing, possibly even younger) and 1 early 40s (I think) -— remarkable speakers and true patriots. Shaking hands with everyone and introducing themselves, they seemed really sincere. I wish we could put all 4 in offices now instead of the leftists we have all over the state....
Paton’s campaign manager (I know him from the old days) told me that Gabby and Paton are running neck-in-neck in the polls. That must be why I haven’t seen the communist papers release any polls yet....
Oh and 4th time I’ve seen Tom T. down here, twice in Tucson (one breakfast that leftists infiltrated and disrupted), once in Sierra Vista, and then yesterday in Sonoita. I must be a groupie.... lol
