I was raised in Sarasota Florida (circus city of America) home of Ringling Brothers Circus. It wasn’t until I joined the Air Force in 1963 that I realized it wasn’t normal to walk around in clown gear and have a pet gorilla or lion in your back yard.

I remember some time ago where a muslim woman wanted ot have her drivers license photo with her face covered. Of course it got struck down after it was overturned over a lower court

I know it's sad, but unless it runs contrary to Florida's state constitution (which I believe it does not as the word "expression" doesn't appear anywhere within the state constitution), then it's entirely legal to ban the wearing of masks in public. Other states have similar laws. With that said, due to the federal Constitution, the federal government can't enact a similar law.
