I was not crazy about it either.
>>I love her voice. I love the hoarseness on certain notes. If she doesnt implode, I think shes a top 10 contender.<<
IMHO, she won’t be if she doesn’t control her pitchiness (especally at the beginning — you have to “grab” that intro phrase) and if she keeps relying on runs.
She has potential but she needs work on her control.
I don’t get that, but there is something that I don’t like about her.
She is really pretty....
You’d think that after all these years the contestants would know to sing something upbeat and catchy the first week.
I’m still confused as to why shoulder pads and ruched sleeves are coming back, lol!
They made a doll in the image of james carville? Who knew?
LOL
I totally agree. Wonder why she picked that song.
Shoulder pads??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Guess I stand corrected, the de-planting has begun!
Oh I know! Some of the 80’s stuff is cute, but shoulder pads need to be thrown into a fiery pit never to be heard from again.
Her song is Leona Lewis' "Happy".
Zzzzzz. It starts very slow. Then she finally gets in gear. It's okay. "I'm just trying to be ... hap-peeee."
Kara: Big song to take on. Nice moments. But there were definitely moments that weren't great.
Randy: You are always going to be compared to those big singers. I couldn't really see you in there.
Ellen: I agree. Great song, but it is predictable. Take a risk.
Simon: Clumsy. I didn't like the arrangement. I think you're going backwards. No originality. I think you could be in trouble after tonight, sorry.
The Old Spice commercial makes me want to hurl.
This Old Spice commercial is so ghey — if I used it I would throw mine out and get some Right Guard or Sports Stick.
I’m distracted by Ellen. She looks like Seacrest’s twin.
Hi, Peggy! :)
LOL! Did you have any of those oversized tuxedo jackets with tails? I did! Pink and gray floral print with the cropped pants....and shoulder pads a linebacker would be proud of!
What news?
I had a Markie Post haircut. THEN I would put on my Don Johnson blazer.
LOL! Or his mom.
