Two guys left, battling for the last spot in the Top 24.
Fat Thadbert (Thaddeus) and Andrew Garcia, the single dad from the hood.
Thadbert: I'm nervouth.
Simon: You didn't make it. You didn't do anything wrong.
Thadbert melts into a slobbering crying cursing gelatinous mess. Wow.
The camera (and his mother?) follow him to the bathroom, where he continues to sob in the stall. Mommy!!
All of this is unbeknownst to Andrew. He learns he's in the Top 24.
Andrew calls his family. "Kiss my baby for me!"

IMHO the best 24 set ever.
There are 4 or 5 that really don’t belong, but overall the voices and talent have been out of this world for the ones we saw.
Some of these folk are strangers to us at home, even now.
