OK, Lee was really good. Crystal is flat out great!
And she’s just soooooooo confident in a down-to-earth way!
Absolutely
It’s a big f’n deal!
LMAO!! Love that one.
Now if we could get her to take that piece of crap out of her chin...and perhaps brush her hair??? (Iknow, I know...only one thing at a time...but I CAN dream :-)
Simon is being too confusing
Once again Simon nails it, “Crystal, ignore the hell out of Kara”!
Simon gives Crystal very odd critiques.
(shhhh, don’t tell him this is the American Idol thread. tee hee)
I don’t think her hair can be brushed out at this point. It might need the razor.
ROFL!!!
They fall all over themselves to praise so-so performances, and they give Crystal faint praise. I don’t get it, other than to spin the vote...just like the MSM with Obama.
I agree about the backup singers...too strong, too close. And I agree that she should be herself...even if it means strumming on the guitar during disco week. I just love her.
#1 LEE
then.........
Crystal
Casey
Aaron
I miss drunk Paula.
>>Simon is being too confusing<<
He knows she is in the winner’s slot and really wants to make sure she establishes a unique profile for when he signs her and starts cranking out albums.
He is already thinking past the competition.
me too
short and fat
I have a 9 ring size and I weigh 140. It’s weird. I weigh less than I did years ago but for some reason my fingers got fatter.
She won't be playing the Joplin guitar this week. She'll play piano.
Usher: You got a real shot, kid. For real.
Her song is "Midnight Train To Georgia".
One word: WOW.
When she kicks it into gear, there are goosebumps. Awesome, awesome, awesome. She finishes the song away from the piano, singing with a microphone.
Randy: Love the outfit, love the stilettos. I'm working with Gladys Knight right now and she would say you did that song proud.
Ellen: You really are competing now. You are in it to win it. Wonderful tonight.
Kara: So glad you took that risk. Can't wait to see what you do next week.
Simon: (loves the performance--his only criticism is that this particular choice may not be true to her) Regardless of what we say, do not let this process take your identity. What you were doing before was absolutely fantastic. You are the kind of artist--rare--who knows exactly what you should be. Don't change.
