1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
4 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
5 to flame the spell checkers
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
5 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
6 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what supermarkets are offering discounts on brands of light bulbs, and what customer service they expect in a lightbulb shop
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
1 lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.
Of course all light bulbs are born that way and are still light bulbs even when they are not engaging in light bulb behavior.

6 FReepers to mention how we wouldn’t have this problem if illegals hadn’t stolen the old one
That’s a “croissant” wrench.
At least one post by al baby telling us the lightbulb in his beeber was stuned
Several “are you plogged in?” posts
I'm getting in the shower.
3 to point out that RomneyBulb has been a disaster in Mass. People have to wait in long lines to get their bulbs changed, there is a shortage of bulbs, and the cost of changing bulbs is banrupting the state.
Hey Frepers, where’s my guh?
And one to point out that Nikola Tesla’s Alternating Current was superior to Thomas Edison’s Direct Current.
Did you mean to post my OP?
Did you follow the link?

A blast from your past!
This legacy link is iffy at the moment.
It only shows up intermittently.
I can copy/paste it to you in a freepmail.

The best one of all time was “How many Al Gores does it take to screw in a lightbulb?”.
These lightbulb threads always reflect what is going on at the moment, so the “already been posted” stuff is silly (imho). Read the old ones and compare to the new ones and you’ll see they often go into a totally different direction.
you forgot:
2 to post “SEARCH IS YOUR FRIEND!” with a link to a prior thread :)
<1 or 2 freepers to point out that the outage was a prelude to the Rapture
LOL! And 1 to post that s/he never uses light bulbs and wonder why people are wasting time discussing them.
Its an old joke. But I have been called that too.
7 to point out the left has been loud and in-your-face changing light bulbs for decades, and we have just as much right to be loud as they do.
3 to post Charles Krauthamer’s article saying we should be more calm and polite when changing light blubs.
