LONDON (AFP) Scientists are looking for women willing to eat chocolate every day for a year -- all in the name of medical science.
Researchers at the University of East Anglia and a hospital in Norwich, eastern England are trying to find out whether chocolate can cut the risk of heart disease and need 40 women to step forward and help.
Most of the women will have to eat two bars of "super-strength chocolate specially formulated by Belgian chocolatiers" daily for one year and undergo several tests to measure how healthy their hearts are.
The others will have to eat regular chocolate as a placebo.

Well I already have a tablespoon of cocoa powder every day for well over a year, so I guess I am disqualified. Cocoa powder has many more anti- oxidants than wine.

They only want 40? Oh heck. What are they going to do about the other 2,999,999,960 women who show up?

I mostly eat some chocolate chips, daily. Every once in a while I am out.
But the volunteers here apparently have to have type 2 diabetes. Thankfully I don’t have that problem.

I did look around the internet and it really doesn’t matter what brand. I use Hershey’s bc its less expensive. I also read to use it hot, so I use it to flavor my coffee. No sense in spending my hard earned money on expensive dark chocolate candy. And, it’s not high.
