Lovely, Luv. Thank you.
Have a Terrific Day.
I'm always peppy!
Now there' SANITY here! ;o0
Thought this was the DD thread! :o)
Oh, thank you, that is beautiful, yorkie! I just got back and have to go again after I eat lunch? I guess its lunch.
Can’t wait for a report on lunch!
What adorable girls with a hint of mischief in their eyes.
Jane, The girls are darling......BUT, the pineapple upside down cake looks pleasing to my eyes right now...LOL! Think I will take the cake!
I try not to buy a whole cake but slices instead. A cake just doesn’t last at my house.
LOL
Well, Pippin, you are never on the wrong thread here. LOL
Good to see you!
Aren’t those little girls sweet?
When I saw them, I knew they were perfect for “Look alike Day”.
Have a Terrific Tuesday.
Anyone have a recipe for banana bread?
Wonderful! Love that story!
Beautiful Opening today, Billie. Thank you. That rose is lovely and the poem fits perfectly. Thank you for your many contributions. I was relieved enough yesterday afternoon to post some holidays. And I wanted to use the pretty Holiday Heading and Divider. :)
Thank you, Amy. I could feel the relief in your post and know how much happier you're going to be in a month when it's ALL over but the celebrating!
I'm enjoying all the beautiful roses everyone is posting - including yours!
I’d seen the first gif several times and wasn’t expecting much so when the third gif showed up I really laughed out loud.
BWAAAAHAAAAAAHAAAAAA!
Glad you enjoyed them!
Of course, yellow roses are this Texas gal’s favorite! :D
Johnn, this is my favorite - it's been in our family for years and years and I wouldn't even think of trying another recipe.
Banana Bread ~ 350 degrees - 1 hour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
2/3 cup buttermilk
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped nuts
pinch salt
Grease & flour 2 loaf pans. Cream sugar & Crisco. Add eggs. Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Add alternately with flour. Fold in bananas and nuts. Pour into loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
It’s funny...my hubby, who has always even hated mowing the lawn, has become Mr. Gardener Guy around here. He has planted
all kinds of flowers, herbs and veggies and the lawn looks like
a carpet in the summer. I love it, but it’s sure not him!
My roses are doing much better with his TLC! LOL!
Seriously, my husband doesn't mow the lawn, so we have a yard service take care of it every week, but he does keep the rest of the fields mowed (with a tractor & shredder).
I just don't like tending to anything other than the dozen or so flower pots & hanging baskets - don't want any fruit trees, pecan trees, rose gardens, vegetable gardens......!
