And another thing, the song is "Whole Lotta LOVE" it's not meant to be a "mean rocker" song. It's a bluesy rock LOVE song! It's a deeply committed, sexually driven, with sensual emotional connections kind of song. Adam didn't even get it!Completely agree. Zeppelin was hugely influenced by American blues.
Blues is hot, sweaty, dirty and messy. Gritty. It doesn't wear costumes. It wears what it wore yesterday -and probably the day before- because the blues' woman done took all his clothes.

I really liked Allison last night, too.

Anyone else notice the SIZE of Kara's ears? My gawd...she could flap them..and fly, like Dumbo..or at the least, autorotate over the stage.. They're Obama-esque.

They’re actually going to church now? Last I heard, they were “still looking” for a church. But I admit, I certainly don’t go out of my way to read about them, not having that strong of a stomach!

Simon slammed Allison for sounding like Joplin I wouldn't call it a slam really. Simon said he meant it as a complement.

I was going through the song lists in my head for Kris that might work well with his voice Is there a link to the list or song choices somewhere?

Get the gift card, but then you be the one to take her shopping. Make it a fun outing and then you can be the one to help her pick out what she likes without going over the top. If you dont take her, mom will and then she will get the little girl stuff. Plus, your niece will love the time spent with you. :)Excellent plan! But I just got back. :-( I'm going to tell her to feel free to call me when ever she wants to go shopping.
Whoever said American Eagle is a big winner! I got two t-shirts and a pair of super cute cut-off jean shorts (that are so cute I can't believe I didn't get a pair in my size, too). They are all faded and come pre-worn out looking. Her grandma will probably hate them. LOLOLOL

I don't think so, but my daughter and her kids go. My grandson - who is a senior this year, and will be shipping out to Basic on his 18th birthday this summer - loves the scrubs he got there. We have two Goodwill stores in town that have good selections. The Salvation Army store that was in a good area closed.
They also go to the consignment stores - to buy and to sell.

It’s a great idea. It’s one of those things that every time I go by I think, “I’ve got to stop there one of these days.”
