WHERE ARE YOU?
STEVEN R. TEAGUE

Posted on 03/08/2009 7:40:55 PM PDT by bayoublazer

Should we stand in anticipation of what may come, or, fight for what has already been granted to us by our decleration. Tacit compliance, breeds acceptance to the 'mob' that is currently in charge. I am in New Orleans and feared Katrina less than what is being impressed on me from our so called leaders. I am willing to stand above all else, at the peril to my life and liberty. I pledge my sacred honor to the rule of law. The Constitution. For those nearby, please let me know.

I’m with you! Let’s get ‘em!

Uh, are we talking about game wardens, or parole officers?

Yep, I’m standing my ground too and following only The Constitution-even if at some later date doing that makes me a criminal in the eyes of the Obammunists. Ready for the worst, hoping for the best. For what it’s worth,,,2 cents...I do believe Der Fuhrer has pushed his agenda just a tad too much too soon, and 2010 will end the reign of dems being in the majority in the House and Senate. Until then,,,keep yer powder dry!

There are more ways than one to be successful in this endeavor. I would suggest looking at your local Republican party headquarters (http://www.lagop.com or http://www.batonrougerepublicans.com/) for men and women of similar thought and deed. Discuss and brainstorm which offices locally, which offices in your state and then which offices at the federal level are best to take down and remove the corrupted incumbents and put new leaders in place. You may be one of those new leaders. If you look at history, many who stood in face of peril, did so by working through the political process.
Our founding fathers knew this and knew that our government needed to be of the people and for the people and by the people. YOU are that Person in that people statement. Take charge and lead or push a more qualified leader to the front for each office. Starting at the bottom...grass roots...build it!

I am far past the obligation, to bow down to my local GOP authority. I believe they are part of the problem that needs to be shed. We are far stronger in our support, to the constitution, to listen to these jackasses. Family first, all others second. Traitors require immediate attention.

Although I am not in La. (used to be), I am in a neighboring state. I may never get to meet you, but I have to believe that there are many others like us who will stand while standing is still possible.

I have been somewhat vocal with many of my co-workers about the trend of things concerning the 2nd Amendment, etc., and I have found quite a few that agree with me. I would advise you toward a similar strategy, just be careful to whom & in front of whom you talk about it.

It would probably be good to start “feeling out” some of your neighbors as wisdom would dictate, to see if something as benign as a “Neighborhood Watch” could develop later into a sort of “Mutual Defense Arrangement”, etc.

But once again, “Loose lips sink ships”, and you must use caution.

Political action is good, but you need a fall-back plan in case things go south before that can happen.

Well put. However the founders also provides for when there is no other way.

When you consider ACORN, WH control of the US census, campaign funds from overseas, and corrution within both parties we have seen our last free election back in 2004.

But your thought is nice.

Damn well stated. That is the reason I'm no longer a Republican as of last week (should have made this move long ago). The Rats are traitors and I now view the Republicans as co-conspirators.

One mad as hell conservative coon-ass.

“We are far stronger in our support, to the constitution,

I agree. Most politicians, even Republicans, are bought,
and are obligated to someone, or to some organization, and
are only interested in the agendas of those who control
them. Whores, the lot of them, and are not to be trusted.

I suggested on another thread the institution of a new conservative political party that would overcome the disadvantages normally associated with alternate parties (e.g. dilution of voting power).

Here's a link to that suggestion.

GOP/Pubs lost us last year.
We now describe ourselves politically as Conservative Catholics.

Where are you?

I'm from the place the “One” came from and we have no Republican authority to bow down to only crooked machine democrats and federal prosecutors that are willing to run cover for them. It's like being in prison.
