Drinking just one glass of wine a day can INCREASE risk of cancer by 168%, say the French!

Drinking just a small glass of wine a day can more than double the risk of cancer, a study claims.

It says that consuming just one 125ml glass of wine increases the chance of developing mouth and throat cancer by 168 per cent.

Other cancers are also more likely to strike regular drinkers, the study by France's National Cancer Institute (INCA) reports.

Dominique Maraninchi, INCA's president, said: 'Small daily doses of alcohol are the most harmful. There is no amount, however small, which is good for you.'

The findings go against previous research, which has found that the antioxidants in red wine can actually reduce the risk of cancer.

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM . . . .
We are ALL going to die one day. Wine drinkers, water drinkers, Jack Daniel drinkers. . . . .
ALL
So I plan to drink what I want to.
And die with a smile, (And a purple mouth).

Wine’s bad, but Jameson and martinis are okay?

Bad stress causes cancer. Period.

Pray. Meditate. Pray. Relax. Pray. Forget the entire 0bumma mess for a while. Then pray.

Nor do I.

Just read the stats for heart attacks and strokes in our nation as they relate to the bible belt in our nation.

My Gosh...it is amazing.

Makes ya want to imbibe in a good glass of wine ASAP.

Besides, I have a strong feeling that our Father in Heaven knew the benefits of a wondrous glass of good wine because Christ would have never replenished the wine at the wedding otherwise.

It’s really quite simple. The French make money by exporting wine. If fewer frogs drank wine, they could export more. It’s that simple.

You think that’s bad, get this.

Have you ever heard of Dihydrogen Monoxide:

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

FRENCH POLITICS AND CULTURE PING LIST: FReepMail ME IF YOU WANT TO JOIN.

Since the French have much, much lower rates of all cancers, as well as half the heart diease rate, I kind of doubt this study.

The French also have the longest life span. Much, much longer than ours.

Of course drinking one glass of wine a day will risk your health.

You need 4 or 5 to get the health benefits...:>

Life causes cancer. Screw it and pass the wine. I’m not going to live forever anyway.

I recently chose a new primary care physician.

After two visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said I was doing "fairly well" for my age.

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, "Do you think I'll live to be 80?"

He asked, "Do you smoke tobacco or drink alcoholic beverages?"

"No," I replied. "I don't do drugs, either."

Then he asked, "Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?"

I said, "No, my other doctor said that all red meat is unhealthy!"

"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, fishing or relaxing at the beach?"

"No, I don't," I said.

He asked, "Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lot of sex?"

"No," I said. "I don't do any of those things."

He then looked at me and asked,

"Then why do you give a shit?"
