.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.

A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

Tryin’ to recall where we left off:

—Tony still inside missile silo/WMD factory
—Jack staying tough despite onset of Janet Reno
—Freckles setting out to call Kim
—Larry riding the helo back to HQ...again.
—Prez still shaking after making what libs call “the tough call” (we call it “backing down”).
—Chelsea — well, whatever she’s up to, she’s still a slut and I think she’s setting Aaron up.
—Chloe & Morris are birthing.
—Bill’s still dead, darnit.

Writers are kicking themselves they didn’t write pirates into the script at this point.

Does that about cover it?

“untrained teenagers" with ak47’s were featured in the season's premier.

About two years ago some of us offered possible scripts for the next season.
Jack was in the bottom of a ship being tortured while on his way to a Chinese prison I believe....

I Suggested, that jack would battle his way out of that hole, sink the ship and crew with it . After surviving days without water, clinging to a raft and fighting off sharks, Jack would be rescued by a passing yacht captained by it's a zillionaire European owner and his incredibly beautiful Asian wife.....I'm talking drop dead beautiful here folks.

The wife tends to Jack...he recovers rather quickly....well, no kidding Dick Tracy....just in time to defend the couple against an attack by Malaysian pirates.....The hubby is hacked to death......the pirates are all slaughtered and the season ends with jack and the widow sailing toward a friendly port.
