Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

Hmmmm....so let me see if I understand another point you are making.

The kid has a low survivability factor. he is going to die eventually....so don’t give him the treatment to live

and how does this differ from a child in the womb who has a low survivability factor and won’t live more than a year because of some severe disability diagnosed in the womb

he is going to die anyway, right? so why let him live through the pain

Is it okay to abort a fetus that has a low survivability factor?

And what about the child who needs a blood transfusion to live and it not a mere few months to live but live for years because the blood transfusion saved his life?

Oops, you don’t care that his life could be saved..it is the parents decision to let him die?

And on another front . . .

It has been reported repeatedly that the Travolta’s live in Ocala, Florida. Actually, the Travolta’s live down the road from me in Anthony, Florida.

Anthony is north of Ocala - both are in Marion County.

Hmmmmm.......so you disagree with the thought that
withholding of necessary medical care from a minor is a form of child neglect, abuse, or both

and you disagree with the laws put in place to protect the rights of these children?

If the parents decline the services based on their own beliefs, yes. Necessary is a funny word, what is necessity to one person is nature taking its course to others.

It is not drama. It is asking you to clarify what you said. I read what you said.

Is it immoral or moral to force woman to have abortions?

There are worse things than death.

Or are you so afraid of death that you have to stave it off at all costs.

I think, that at times, the costs are too high. I am not talking about money here. I am talking about what the child has to go through.

No but I would only provide comfort care to a child who has low survivibility.

Nature taking its course is not a bad thing.

Howard stern made the joke that his neighbors must hate him..because of the noise from the planes

he also said he couldnt figure out how travolta came up with all that money..

I guess he got some fantastic residuals from Saturday Night Fever.

If the parents, like parents of certain denominations, believe that it is wrong, the kid does not get a transfusion. So what.

So have I. among a number of different moral conumdrums. There are times to learn to let go. Death is not a bad thing. It is just another thing.

Let me ask you again.

A child is in a car wreck. he has lost alot of blood.
He needs a blood transfusion.
The parents say NO.

He will probably die without it.

This is okay to you because it is their decision?

Here is a lesson I hope that the Travoltas have learned..as well as everyone else looking into this scam called Scientology.

They paid alot of money..probably millions, to get to their level in Scientology. At their level they are supppose to have special powers. This is what Tom Cruise was alluding to in that infamous Crazy Scientology interview that got leaked on the web.

Here is what they are suppose to be able to do:

Procedure:

If a person has done a bunk, you can simply order him to come back and
bring the body to life. The commands are addressed to the person and
should be given in a tone of authority.

It would be as simple as commanding,

“COME BACK AND BRING THIS BODY TO LIFE!”

Or ordering the person,

“COME BACK HERE AND PICK UP YOUR BODY! AT ONCE! PICK IT UP! I ORDER
YOU! RIGHT NOW!”

You just keep commanding him with Tone 40. He is still around and can be
gotten to come back again.

There is another means of bringing a person back to life. You can coax
the person back. In one case, an auditor pleaded along the lines that
the person should remember her husband, should think of her children,
and so on, all with no response. He couldn’t get her to pick up the
body at all. Finally, the auditor said, “Think of your poor auditor!”
at which point she came back and brought the body to life.
[...]

— L. Ron Hubbard
HCOB 8 Apr. 88, THE “BRING BACK TO LIFE” ASSIST
TR INSTRUCTION FILM NO. 10, ASSISTS

It is reported that John told his dead son he was sorry.

The dangerous cult has indoctrinated him into thinking he should be able to bring Jett back to life..he should have the power to do it.

So whose fault is it that he is dead? From a Scientology perspective, whose fault could it possibly be other than the Travoltas...

And this is the guilt they will live with the rest of their lives. They paid exhorbitant amounts of money to have powers..and they couldnt bring Jett back.

It is a sick f’ed up cult that should be disbanded.

Will they defect?

Doubtful.

ha.. I agree with you, its funny how people want us to be sensitive on this thread to the Travolta Family as if the Travolta family is spending time reading threads on FreeRepublic..

Seems to me the purpose of the site is to discuss News.. and seems legitimate to me to discuss the possibility that Travolta’s Scientology beliefs may have cost this child his life.

and one thing i want to know.. is how long ago did they stop giving him the Depakote.. it could have been years ago, for all I know..

to me there is a distinction.. between staving off death at all costs.. when your own life is involved... and you are an adult..

and parents making that choice for a child.. there are too many idiotic parents out there to allow them the possibility to medically neglect their children...

Their detox/purification rituals were much more likely to give the boy liver damage than Depakote.

Tommy Davis is spinning the propaganda machine.

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/01/scientologists-speak-out-about-travolta.php

Of course, if anyone reads statements from former Scientologists ...they will understand it is propaganda.

So the Travoltas tried one drug and that was it. A drug listed as an antipsychotic drug by the CCHR.

I wish one of these reporters would directly ask Tommy Davis why Dianetics didn’t cure the problem. It is the ONLY solution to the reactive mind according to whacko Hubbard...and the foundation of this cult.

I wonder where all of this money goes that is poured into the coffers. Do people high up in the leadership...like Tom Cruise and John Travolta.. get any of it?

Because I find it so hard to believe that I am just making sure I understand it right.

So in Travoltas case, if he decides to withhold medication that could help his child with the seizures that are like death every time..no one should intervene..just like no one should save the child who needs the blood transfusion if the parents want to let him die.

The law is immaterial. What is important is the parents decisions..even if it results in the death of a disabled child.

I couldnt disagree more and thank god we have some semblance of law, with all its faults, that disagrees with you.

This is absolutely my concern. If you want to withhold your own medical treament and die ..that is your choice.

But to do it to a child who has no say so in the matter...is abhorrent to me.

How do you look a child in the eyes and say sorry honey, you can’t have the blood transfusion that would save your life ..I am going to let you die. What if the child begs, MOMMY MOMMY PLEASE DONT LET ME DIE..and MOMMY SAYS..SORRY HONEY YOU MUST DIE.

And how do you life with it after you have done it to a child that begged you to let them live.
