Hmmmm....so let me see if I understand another point you are making.

The kid has a low survivability factor. he is going to die eventually....so don’t give him the treatment to live

and how does this differ from a child in the womb who has a low survivability factor and won’t live more than a year because of some severe disability diagnosed in the womb

he is going to die anyway, right? so why let him live through the pain

Is it okay to abort a fetus that has a low survivability factor?

And what about the child who needs a blood transfusion to live and it not a mere few months to live but live for years because the blood transfusion saved his life?

Oops, you don’t care that his life could be saved..it is the parents decision to let him die?

There are worse things than death.

Or are you so afraid of death that you have to stave it off at all costs.

I think, that at times, the costs are too high. I am not talking about money here. I am talking about what the child has to go through.

No but I would only provide comfort care to a child who has low survivibility.

Nature taking its course is not a bad thing.

If the parents, like parents of certain denominations, believe that it is wrong, the kid does not get a transfusion. So what.
