The kid has a low survivability factor. he is going to die eventually....so don’t give him the treatment to live

There are worse things than death.

Or are you so afraid of death that you have to stave it off at all costs.

I think, that at times, the costs are too high. I am not talking about money here. I am talking about what the child has to go through.

I lived through a mother dying of lung cancer. I know all about those decisions.

to me there is a distinction.. between staving off death at all costs.. when your own life is involved... and you are an adult..

and parents making that choice for a child.. there are too many idiotic parents out there to allow them the possibility to medically neglect their children...
