Good morning everybody and happy Christmas Eve!

I won't be here much for a few days, but it's for a GOOD reason: the library (where our computer sits) doubles as our guest room, and we have our soldier kid staying with us for the next few days.;-)

So my access is somewhat limited.

We're having the gang over for dinner tomorrow as usual, including Ev & Katie, older son Jake, Em & Curt, plus Grandma and a few other relatives and very close friends.

GOOD AFTERNOON, 75 degrees, wind blowing and looking for rain and fog in a wee little bit, same tomorrow. ONE of these days I am going to be able to shovel snow off the sidewalk in front of the kids house.

SIL is having to work at the casino until about 10 in the morning and we are wringing our hands on how we are going to cover the fact that old Santa hasn’t come yet, hoping that the ‘drivers’ at eh casino will let him off early. We will coop with whatever, they just laid off over 500 from the casino and he is still working, been there 10 years but that does not make any difference, just keep us in prayer in the matter.

ML, ALL, I could never put in words what all you have meant and do mean to me over these years, you have been my sanity. I am truly blessed with friends such as you and all here on FR.

We went to the first Mass of the evening, the kids came home with us,, we ate, we laughed, we opened gifts, the kids modeled their clothes, they girls did a dance routine.

I have been awake since 3. I am going to bed now. The clean up can wait until tomorrow.
