During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.
That’s been tried, and it proved to be unwise. Fortunately Tom wasn’t home by himself!
BWA-HA-HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
No disrespect is intended. We were in an all out propaganda war with the Russians - a cold war that was deadly serious. My feeling that the landing never happened is not a put down on the men who were in the space program. They proved their mettle on many dangerous flights - their devotion to this country is NOT something I challenge.
BWA-HA-HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
For someone who calls me a “bully,” you’re sure trying to get your point across.
Go have some coffee laced with lots of whiskey, and try not to be so judgemental.
Your petty insistence is giving me a headache. Or maybe it’s your obvious disdain for the people who actually picked UP the moon rocks and brought them home.
Are you all ready for your trip? We did our shopping for the church’s Christmas collections this morning - lots of canned food, and a coffee maker for a Russian refugee lady. The coffee maker was on loss-leader clearance at Wal-mart, so I think I’ll add a 15-item bath set that Anoreth was given at Girl Scouts last year. She doesn’t care to be Tangerine, so it’s been sitting in the bathroom cabinet, fully wrapped, for a year!
I guess I’m ready. Nothing has gone right since Saturday evening (except for the fact that I got the battery installed in the truck) so I just decided to take it as it is.
I have to re-pack a few things to make them fit, but outside of that, I’m good to go. I’m trying to confine my bags to one for the overhead, and one that acts as a purse, cosmetics and bath items that can go under the seat.
I was going to wash clothes and clean house, but it’s too much stress. Not what I need. So I’m going to ignore it all.
I don’t doubt for one minute that we went to the Moon (altho I’m glad to hear about the reflector, I didn’t know about it!). I can’t figure out why anyone honestly spends any energy thinking up why we can’t have gone.
I cannot imagine the govt being able to cover up something that would have taken so many people to pull off. And that’s cool that your dad knew Alan Shepard!
I think they last forever, if unopened - so go ahead and regift it before you move!
I can’t imagine it either, but a lot of us have some subject about which other people think our opinions are totally nuts, so I’m not going to worry about it. And it is neat to “know someone who knew someone ...”
Yawn... Made sure I was up in time to be in the office by 7 AM for an important teleconference... only to learn it was in my Outlook calendar on the wrong day. *\>:^(
BWA-HA-HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I was up way too early for me, but I’m making progress...even if it IS slow.
I always know when to take a break because my back tells me in no uncertain terms.
*groan*
*whine*
*complain*
Now THAT’s funny!
LOL!
I would’ve liked to have slept in. Oh well. It’s an early teleconf tomorrow followed by a late evening, followed by another early morning teleconf.
Sleeping in is luxurious, but I hate it, because then the day goes too fast.
There isn’t much time for contemplation and such, if one gets up after 7:30.
