[history]
During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

It's still there. *\;-)
Made it home safely, though LoM went out again while I shoveled more (melting) snow.
We went back to the falls where I took some more pictures. A bit of mist today:
After that we went up the road a few miles to a local landmark, Twede's Cafe. TV watchers might know it from the TV series "Twin Peaks" but I've never seen the show. The place is full of Tweety Birds and much Americana. A lot of fun.

Such incredible pictures, Sion.
Thanks.
It's not hard to see that God is a better decorator than humans.

LOL, you are correct on that!!
But Twede's, on the other hand, has 50 different kinds of burgers! (Their menu says "A to Z" but stops at W.) I had the Bombai Burger. *\;-)

On some other thread, somebody linked
this album of his tour of "da Yoopie" (MI upper peninsula) last summer. Made me a bit homesick...

I love the "Indian Paint Brush". (Yes, I know that's not PC. Tough.)
I have some here, mostly yellow. I love the pink and red ones. *sigh*

Curry, cucumber and chutney, along with the usual. Flavor reminiscent of India, but only just... (and it's on *beef*!)
I just discovered they have a website! http://twedescafe.com/
The initial picture doesn't give the full "setting." North Bend is a town that is somewhat proud of its rustic ramshackle Bavarian/Scandihoovian appearance and is managing to preserve it despite all the Microsoft money in the area. Nothing is rundown but *nothing* is upscale -- it's generally just well-maintained however old it is. Like Twede's.

It’s not my code.
It’s from Sion’s link.
I saw properties, but I don’t see dead people yet..

Odd. There is an extra '6' in the URL that you get when copying the image location.
Remnoving it doesn't help.

Maybe it’s because we’re in the Asteroid Belt, and there’s extra interference in the transmission.
