To the moon, troll, to the moon!

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.

It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)

Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.

I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

Ye gods, man! Just walk up the stairs!

How can you be so lazy?

Good morning, Bob! 20 degrees - dog didn’t want to go out this morning. Pat got his laser pointer, and will be spending the day in his fantasy world, targeting us all.

Hmm. Maybe I should get a laser pointer. I have, as they say, a little list ...

You can get a nice blue one that reaches across the city for about $700.

Pat’s will be confiscated if he shines it in anyone’s eyes, especially the dragons’, because they’re too slow to move or shut their eyes. It’s hard being a cold-blooded animal in the winter!

"You can get a nice blue one that reaches across the city for about $700."

This deserves consideration. I have a small laser device for checking the evenness with which a picture hangs ...

So you're saying that for only $700 I could "level" the city?

I must mull on this.

Maybe $500, if you hit the after-Christmas sale at ThinkGeek.

I should start up a collection.

My city needs it.

Seeya!

We're hoping for a high of 5 today. Supposed to be 20 tomorrow. I guess we'll see.

This is our first real cold snap since moving in to this house. So far, so good. Seems to hold a lot of heat despite it's size. I've ID'd a couple of windows that will need replacing, but we were planning on that for this spring anyway.

Makes me think fondly of Florida. But at least you have a good reason to Huddle. I have to go out later, but I don’t want to!

We likes to snuggle we do... I’m just glad we had the chimney on the fireplace cleaned out. Adds some wonderful ambiance, not to mention heat, to our main family room.

We have a gas fireplace in the dining room, but it’s not the same. A real fireplace is on the list with a front porch for amenities we never seem to get.

As Atlanta was shellacking the Vikings yesterday, I was on my MacBook perusing well sites looking for a hand-pump that can be converted to a windmill if necessary. I love having my own well, but am kinda nervous that without -e, the water stays where it's at.

Our wood-burning fireplace insert isn't exactly one that we could cook over if we needed to, but my in-laws have a spare Franklin that I could rig up in the garage should push come to shove.

We may, or may not, try and replace the deck off the back of the house this coming summer as well. Depends on how the finances shake out.

Nope. The orchestra and choir were cancelled, and our two services combined into one.

You don’t want to hand-pump when it’s really cold out ...
