[history]

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

"Great-grandchild... wow." If current trends hold, my first great grandchild should arrive in 2070.

I was tempted, but that 5000-character magazine article can wait.

Very interesting. According to Google (Language Tools), in German "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" is: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Did you think it would be anything else? *\;-)

Might have to sprinkle in some umlauts.

I think it’s a semi-umlaut.

The umlaut is a letter modified by a diacritic which consists of a pair of dots or lines placed over a letter. When the vowel is an i, the diacritic replaces the tittle. A very similar diacritic is the diaeresis (or trema), and a distinction between them is not always made.
To: ThomasThomas
I always thought the umlaut was the doohicky over the letter.
Doesn’t trema cause your eye to twitch?
To: ThomasThomas
In Caleefornia, temblors cause everyone to twitch.

She weighs about 60 lbs. DP lifts weights! She’s trained to be still if she’s picked up correctly, so it’s carrying a dead weight. Bill might be able to lift her, but I wouldn’t try it. I pick 40 lbs. of James or Pat up sometimes, but I don’t carry them up the stairs! Vlad weighs 34, though, and I carry him around all the time.

Edra is the same age as my father, 72. A number of her grandchildren are older than my kids, though - well on in their 20’s. Anoreth’s old enough to have children, but she has more sense. It would be different, of course, if she were 25 and married!
