[history]

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

Sweetener!?! If I'm not here in the West, I *always* specify "unsweet ice tea." But even then waitresses sometimes forget and refill with the sweet stuff, which I can't drink. (I'm just a bitter sort of person, don'cha know?)
Room-temp diet Coke I can relate to, however. I have that often in Germany and Austria, though I really prefer Tafelwasser (carbonated water).

I buy lime-flavored (and artificially-sweetened) fizzy water at Wal-mart when it’s in stock. Harris-Teeter has lime sometimes, too.
I always order unsweetened iced tea, too, and put fake sugar in.

So I hear! Fortunately, for a trip to my parents’ house, we can travel with almost nothing but purses and the clothes we’ve got on. Maybe a bag with a pencil and a crossword-puzzle book.

That pencil sounds kinda dangerous to me.
My mother traveled with a pair of scissors that, had someone removed the screw attaching them together, could have been used for fencing instruction.

I used to take sewing on planes, but I guess you can’t now. I remember trying to get my sewing bag into the San Antonio Court House for jury duty, and both the scissors and the needles were prohibited. I took them back to the truck and spent the day reading Spanish newspapers and legal guides.

Ah yes. I have a snap-brim cap from the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
So if you have your 100 hats packed, you must be ready to move, right?

I bought some boxes today so I can start packing things I don’t use much. I have a box in the front for hats, empty. I guessing a month to close. Too many people want time off for Christmas and don’t get paid commission to happen before the end of the year. I have a week off at Christmas so I can’t complain.

If you know the layout of the house you’re moving into, mark the destination for each box you pack.
That way, anyone helping you unpack, can carry the box to the appropriate room. That’s more than half the work.
Just mark the room name on a sign on the door of the room; bedroom A, bedroom B, et cetera.

Good plan. We’ve done that on the last few moves.

My dad was in the Navy when I was a kid.
I going thought all my old clothes now to see what I can give away. I am throwing away a 1975 Dodger colt repair manual. I never owned a dodge colt.
I have a good collect of toy given away with fast food that I decided I must have.

Relax. Your toy collection doesn’t take up much room.

Good morning, everyone! Moving our stuff wouldn’t be too bad, because I’d give away or sell everything that annoys me. However, moving the pets would be a raging pain.
