We did our Duty
To eat the Turkey
And put all the veggies away.

And when we were done
we yawned everyone
And soon were snoring. TDay!

We must take advantage of Thanksgiving or we might starve

Good idea. Reminds me of the attractiveness of the thought in paragraph three:

Good Afternoon all my Amy's Place friends! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love the day after! We call it " PJ Day" here at our home! We eat leftovers whenever we want, ( no set time for dinner), and never go out!! No shopping for this family!

I was sent this marvelous tribute to President Bush and sat and cried. I certainly have not been supportive of some of his " calls" or lack of them, during his administration, but this still was a wonderful tribute to him.

Wow, this is a long thread!!!

Sharing my Turkey Pot Pie Recipe:

Country Chicken & Biscuits

2 1/2 C diced chicken (or turkey)
1 1/2 C cheese
1-2 cans cream of chicken soup
10 oz frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
2 C cubed potatoes, cooked
salt
seasoned salt
oven-ready biscuits

Mix & bake at 350* for 20 minutes.
Arrange biscuits on top.
Leave uncovered, return to oven and bake 20
minutes longer or until biscuits are done.

This recipe is from the cookbook:

Happy FRiday, Luv.

I’ve felt too fat and lazy to look for graphics. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Your Thanksgiving sounds wonderful. Your son’s new home sounds lovely.

I love Thanksgiving but I miss large family gatherings. My brother is alone so he usually comes for Thanksgiving. My BIL decided to join us this year. I think he was tired of his and his son’s cooking. :) I think he went home and ate again. LOL
