LOL
I should have missed "Federal Income Tax Day"!
I've been looking forward to a "Nothing Day".
With so many sources, I doubt we will have one of those again. Oh Well ..... TGFGoogle. :)

I try to read all but just dont get to answer sometimes! I also try to at least scan through the thread for the days I miss, but know there are still some posts I miss. Most weekends are just hit and miss for me anyway.

I am just learning about the oldest kitten. The youngest came right to me in the guest room when my SIL first brought her and she is back to staying with me a lot, now that I am back in my room..
Silky is back to her old self..She sleeps in the guest room a lot anyway..Its door also overlooks the patio and the end of a bed is there right next to it for critter and bird watching.
The oldest kitten is out from under the bed, loving being petted and hangs out with us in my room at times..She isn’t running from me as she first did after my daughter left.
She is a beautiful kitten. but shyer than the youngest.
They love the spot right next to the largest sliding door in the LRm Dining room..that goes out to the patio..so all their toys are nearby.
It looks a bit like I am running a daycare..LOL
I am adjusting to the empty quiet...I am so grateful I had them here for as long as I did..
We had a nice shower early this morning..loud enough to wake the kittens and therefore me..We all went back to sleep.
;o)

Well, watching kittens play is way more fun than getting your house back in order. :) One thing's for sure - the housework you do - or don't do - will likely still need to be done tomorrow! Why do we make the bed every day - just have to unmake it every night and then start all over the next morning. A silly ritual, but one I can't 'not' do!
Yep! You're sneaky with that camera - that's the second time recently you've posted a picture of my back yard. :)

Actually, I’ve found that Pillsbury’s (frozen) Oven-Baked in 17 minutes biscuits are about as good as they get - and I keep them in my freezer all the time. Can bake a couple or a couple of dozen at a time, and they’re really, really good. Have you tried them, yorkie? We like them fresh from the oven, OR split and toasted with jelly the next morning for breakfast. (It’s why I usually bake half a dozen at a time - Mr.B eats two, I eat one, and we have the other three for breakfast toast.) :)

We ate at Red Lobster a couple of weeks ago.
I love their biscuits. I could eat half a dozen. :)
That is one of Marissa's favorite places to eat.
I'm saving that recipe .... and also making a note of the
Pillsbury biscuits that you mentioned a couple of posts down.
