So lovely! Thank you, Meg. I always liked that picture - 'we' reworked many of the old Amy's Place graphics to post this time around. (amazing how far we've come in a few short years with new techniques in photo editing, etc!)

Good Grief! I don't know how you always manage to find the perfect illustration for so dang many 'holidays' every day! But you do. :) "Visit your cousin in prison Day" - you're kidding! (did you have to add the text?!)
These are all great, Amy - I always enjoy seeing the illustrations more than the holidays themselves. :)
I LOVE the animal day, and the vodka cocktails look refreshingly delicious!

Doing good, Conor. How are you today?
I’ve been working on some organizing files since it is kinda slow at Amy’s today.

:) :) :)
Apple Betty - good stuff!
I 'bake' apples in the microwave for a quick and easy and oooooh-so-good warm dessert with ice cream. I use Gala Apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar and just a tiny bit of real butter.

I’m admiring all your beautiful “Thank You” graphics for yesterday, Meg - and THIS one at #405, jaycee! I should post more graphics with my comments - not as though I don’t have enough. :)

Well I am sure glad you got it. I was getting ready to send it again. I know how it is. Sometimes I just can’t get caught up on pings and just have to let them go. I try to read all but just don’t get to answer sometimes! I knew you’d love it.

That’s amazing, LadyJ, about your BIL. I know your family will take every day they can have with him, as long as he’s not in terrible pain.

;o)I love your magic...I am still getting my house in order..LOL..I seem to spend too much time watching the two kittens play, sleep..looking for them when they disappear under some bed..I’m giving extra love to all, including my older kitty, Silky, lest she feel neglected..I start to clean and stop to play.

LOL ... NO.
Whichever site listed that as a Holiday had a link to that graphic.
Some days it is easy to find illustrations .... other days it is almost impossible.
I kinda enjoy looking for graphics but not when it takes the better part of an afrernoon. :^ )

Thank you - I'm glad you liked them both. When I can find the poem or lyrics to go with a new opening graphic that I send Amy to use, it gives her more time to spend on the threads each day and less time searching for something to go with another new opening graphic! I know how much time Amy spends coordinating everything every day! :)
This is only a coincidence, but it looks like we're going to be having THREE days close together, with a 'world' theme! (after Dolly's pretty World illustration for NnB's "Spiral" poem this weekend, and today's graphic - and I had already prepared my opening for tomorrow! (guess what? A "world" graphic!)
"We ARE the World"! :)

Did you notice - the same calendar that shows “National Storytelling Festival” Day today also shows it for tomorrow? :) I may leave it off tomorrow’s. :) I also do not like that “123” changed their format for daily celebrations. :( Last week, October looked just like the other months we’ve been using - today I looked, and it’s changed) :(

Those biscuits sound great. Do you have Red Lobster restaurants there?
They serve the most delicious biscuits while you wait for your dinner.
Red Lobster's Cheese Biscuits
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup cold water
3/4 cup grated chddar
2 Tbls butter
1/4 tsp garlic salt or powder
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1/4 tsp Italian seasonings
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix bisquick, water and cheese. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. After baking, (while hot) brush on melted butter or margarine mised with garlic powder, parsley flakes and Italian seasoning.Serve hot.

I agree ... I hate the new format at “123 greeting cards”.
I think I looked at American Greeting Cards and Blue Mountain Greeting Cards. I’m still looking for one that I like and is easy to use.
The FunDays Calendar for this month is better than it was last month.
