I'm sick to my stomach. Although I knew she was going to have to do this..she does take a point of view and she does stick to it, I'm still just sick to my stomach. And for those here who dismiss this woman, you couldn't be more wrong..her books sell like wildfire, her shows sell out and alot of women take what she says as the gospel.
She did say she would still vote for McCain, but she said she wished there was a third party to vote for.
And for those of you who want to attack me for reporting this here, please, please direct your anger elsewhere. I'm not the problem.
I'll post the blog when she uploads it. It's not there yet, but she said on her show she' put it up.
There is something extremely heartless about Dr. Laura. Anyway, I have never bought any of her books. She won't get a dime from me.

So who is this Dr. Laura? I don’t think she’s affected my life very much so far so why would I worry about her opinion now?

From what I heard, Dr. Laura is basing her criticism of Palin not for the pregnant daughter, but because as a mother, Palin won’t be able to give enough time to her family. Possibly true, but as my wife says, we’re not voting for mother of the year, we’re voting for a president and vice president.
Her own mother died and lay dead in her apartment for three days before anyone found her. You can add Suze Ormann to the list, the financial advisor who can’t handle her money (and has never slept with a man).
Justifying poor behavior by pointing out someone else’s *worse* behavior is what liberals do. I doubt Dr. Laura got on the air and first said she had never made any mistakes in her own life before disagreeing with the popular think on the topic of the Palin family situation.
Dr. Laura knows about those pictures and she knows the rest of the world does as well. She’s more than paid for that mistake over the years already. Why is it that every time she disagrees with you all do you feel the need to attack her on that same point again? When is enough enough? Can she ever be forgiven?
And where was Dr. Laura’s big mouth when the news broke about John Edwards?
Nothing to say about a someone who actually RAN for PRESIDENT vs a daughter of the nominated Vicepresident?

I don’t know what she said about Sarah, but I’ll be voting for McCain/Palin. I too will be looking for a third party and plan on registering as an Independent. I’ve had it with the GOP. They don’t represent me. Sarah and her daughter are not role models for us. Her absence at home, hurt her daughter. Mr. Mom is not something I’d want my daughter to marry ... I want her to be the one home with the kids after she is married. Till she is married, I tell her GO FOR IT! BUT, when kids come, YOU stay home and let hubby support you. When the kiddies are GROWN, then GO FOR IT AGAIN! We’re not into this gender swapping roles or Mom not being around for the kids.
It’s probably more about taking on this job when she has a family to raise.
I'd gladly break a leg getting to the remote to switch her off or gladly run off the road to change the radio to escape one grating word from that judgmental, pious hussy!

Dr. Laura isn ‘t nearly as bright or consistent as she thinks she is. She’s right about a lot, but she misses a bunch of the real world at the same time.
Sometimes when nothing else is happening, I listen to her. Thanks for the warning, I won’t bother.
When I first heard this story about the daughter, I knew right away what Dr. Laura’s view would be. I have not even read her speech but I am sure I know what is in it.
Anyway, I am still for McCain/Palin and seldom listen to Dr. L anymore anyway. Although, I respect her opinion.
The replies so far are about as principled and well reasoned as you would find at DU. What part of her argument do you all disagree with? Or did you hear it at all?
Could we not act like a KOS person and post just the smallest shred of evidence that Dr. Laura whined about Palin????
