I need advice in establishing a Celebrity chef or television chef ping list.
There is an existing food ping list though I'm not sure how active it is. This would not be a place for the exchange of recipes though if that were to happen I wouldn't have an issue with it.
The main purpose would be the diversion from more serious matters to discuss television food personalities and news of interest to "foodies": Rachel Ray, Anthony Bourdain, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Jacques Pépin, Paula Deen and so on.
It sure is good to see you roamed out this time, however, I don't think I can find the thread anymore because my memory fails me as to what it was even about and it was about a couple of weeks ago.
I just had to let 'em know that you outstanding ladies had already been there and done that already and so they had some FReepin history to look up to as the gold standard, so to speak. If I find it again, would you be so kind as to inform them of the vintage version of the real unforgetable FReeper ISland? I think I pinged Phil V. too to see if he ever got involved.
Good evening sweet girl.. Those links bring back so many fond memories, but some sad ones as well.. It’s been a while.. Hope everything and everyone is doing great.. Stay happy.. Carlo
Hey girl.. Long time no see.. Eat to your hearts content, remember there aren’t any calories in FReeper recipes..(fingers, and eyes crossed).. Those recipes are still some of the finest I’ve ever seen.. Take care.. Carlo
I know, and so many other wonderful souls and dear FRiends that have passed, are vivid in my thoughts as I reminisce while I wander those threads.. Well, they are all together now.. Bless each and every FReeper, both here and away.. Carlo
Mom always said, if you can't say something nice.. SHUT UP.. :) Carlo
I will..you too Carlo...your gift that God gave you is precious.
Ah.. is right on target my dearest FRiend.. Those were fun times indeed.. We proved that FReepers are as talented in the kitchen as they are handsome and beautiful,, not to mention, brilliant at the keyboard.. (eyes rolling).. Stay safe and close.. Carlo
Add my name for sure.. I’ll try to jump in when I can.. GOOD LUCK, and HAVE FUN.. Carlo
Hey my little sweethearts, look whats cookin over here.. Brings back sooooo many memories.. I’ve been under the weather for far too long.. I can’t be getting old,, ya think.. naaaaaaa.. but I have noticed that a breeze has become a draft.. Hope everyone is fat and sassy..
OMG, it is almost September.. Then Octoberfest, Halloween, followed by Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve.. yikes.. :)
Ping.
WOW, that’s some list of FReeper kitchen threads. Thanks.
It's time to stop being a summertime hermit and actually ping for things like this again. Especially to promote this new ping list. Welcome to the Freeper Kitchen family. :)
1) In large bowl, thoroughly mix dry ingredients.
2) In a second smaller bowl, beat eggs, add sour cream and mix well, then add melted butter and milk.
3) Add wet ingredients to dry, mix carefully to form a smooth, thin batter.
Preheat griddle..
4) Bake on a hot griddle that has been lightly greased with butter, turn once. Serve with warmed maple syrup.
Makes about 18 medium-sized pancakes.
I saw one of Justin’s re-runs on RFD-TV last night.
Put me on the list if you haven’t already...
Pancake Bump! :)
You have both been added to the ping list.
Thank you!
Carlo I never thought of adding sour cream to a pancake batter before but that sounds like an excellent idea! I will try this soon. Thank you! :)
