Do you still drink gin?
One is enough for me, too. It’s not something you want to get loaded on.
It is listed as taken from Devereux or Sands Beach near Goleta, California.
Great divers!(and beggars on the pier)
Spectacular!
PS I have juvenile cardinals now..I was worried for a while.
LOL
My drink of choice is Diet Dr Pepper followed closely by water.
I was never much of a drinker, but would look for something that tasted good.
I will drink a glass of white wine or have an after dinner drink with Kalhua or Amaretto. I’m a wimp.
How exciting!!
Thank you, Kitty Mittens./Just Asking - seoul62.......
Thank you, Yorkie./Just Asking - seoul62........
I had seen fledglings of chckadees, titmice, housefinches, sparrows, Inca and white winged doves for quite awhile so I thought the cardinal nest had been raided. I finally saw the young cardinals a couple of weeks ago. I was thrilled! I never see the nests..it’s a jungle out in the ravine.
Meg - I have had a male and female cardinal here for several years - but have yet to see any offspring.......You are SO lucky!
I just wanted to see who clicks on my links...*ahem*...heh...(oops:)
What. A Party. Animal. :):)
I love my cardinals..They are very drab when young..but they have their crests erect when feeding where my adults put their crest down on landing.
This is my best bird watching house ever..It isn’t that I have so many..but I have a nice variety.
I see an occasional mockingbird on my patio(there are many in the neighborhood.) I see an occasional carolina wren, red bellied woodpecker, and blue jay in addition to the ones I listed above.. Winters I sometimes have cedar waxwings and robins visit..but not this year.
Meg, happy to hear about your young cardinals..exciting and Dita, glad your hummers are at least drinking your offerings! Also liked your email from God...nice.
I am trying to say thank you to everyone for all the pings I have received in the two days I’ve been away! I wanted to look at two day’s threads and decided there was no way I could answer all and sure didn’t want to leave anyone out.
I so enjoyed the great pictures of the Rally. All of you looked so great and it was good to see folks I talk to everyday! Jim looked wonderful! The rest of you folks did too! What a great bunch you are!
Where have I been....started cleaning out “cubby holes” yesterday morning, forgetting I had an eye appt. at 2:00. After my eye appt. my eyes were dialated all day and I couldn’t stand the brightness of the computer!
Then, a horrific storm came up...REALLY AWFUL! Lightning, thunder, terrible winds, torrents of rain. Lost power at 10 to 7 and didn’t get it back until 12:35 this morning. I had laid down on the couch and slept until the lights came back on. Stayed down here until 3:00 in the morning and finally went up to bed until 6:00.
I got back into cleaning today. Then when I found you all talking about dust bunnies, I thought you knew what I was doing...LOL~~~! Then when I heard about “cuddle up day”, I thought how nice it would have been last night when I was afraid to be able to cuddle up! My husband always loved storms. He would go outside on the porch and sit as long as the rain wasn’t blowing in.
Everyone, I saw some very pretty things posted today and some cute ones also. I enjoy them all even though I wasn’t able to answer each. Lady Jag has some funny things. She has a wonderful sense of humor!
Since I have started this long thing, it has been lightning, thundering, raining with lots of hail. I had heard a warning we were going to have more like yesterday evening. It has settled some but still some thunder rolling.
Mr. Mayor, thank you always for your daily devotionals.
I was so glad to see Jim, his wife, Just Amy, Prissy Missy, Lori, J.K. and Diver Dave!! Great looking bunch!
Thanks to all who have so much spirit and beauty in Monday’s and Tuesday’s threads!
How cute the juvenile cardinals must be...!!:)
Take care, jaycee..I hate losing my electricity! I enjoy storms, too, until large hail or tornado warnings are in the mix...I need to clean dustbunnies, too..I am giving it a lick and a promise.
;o)
