Meg, happy to hear about your young cardinals..exciting and Dita, glad your hummers are at least drinking your offerings! Also liked your email from God...nice.

I am trying to say thank you to everyone for all the pings I have received in the two days I’ve been away! I wanted to look at two day’s threads and decided there was no way I could answer all and sure didn’t want to leave anyone out.

I so enjoyed the great pictures of the Rally. All of you looked so great and it was good to see folks I talk to everyday! Jim looked wonderful! The rest of you folks did too! What a great bunch you are!

Where have I been....started cleaning out “cubby holes” yesterday morning, forgetting I had an eye appt. at 2:00. After my eye appt. my eyes were dialated all day and I couldn’t stand the brightness of the computer!

Then, a horrific storm came up...REALLY AWFUL! Lightning, thunder, terrible winds, torrents of rain. Lost power at 10 to 7 and didn’t get it back until 12:35 this morning. I had laid down on the couch and slept until the lights came back on. Stayed down here until 3:00 in the morning and finally went up to bed until 6:00.

I got back into cleaning today. Then when I found you all talking about dust bunnies, I thought you knew what I was doing...LOL~~~! Then when I heard about “cuddle up day”, I thought how nice it would have been last night when I was afraid to be able to cuddle up! My husband always loved storms. He would go outside on the porch and sit as long as the rain wasn’t blowing in.

Everyone, I saw some very pretty things posted today and some cute ones also. I enjoy them all even though I wasn’t able to answer each. Lady Jag has some funny things. She has a wonderful sense of humor!

Since I have started this long thing, it has been lightning, thundering, raining with lots of hail. I had heard a warning we were going to have more like yesterday evening. It has settled some but still some thunder rolling.

I was so glad to see Jim, his wife, Just Amy, Prissy Missy, Lori, J.K. and Diver Dave!! Great looking bunch!

Take care, jaycee..I hate losing my electricity! I enjoy storms, too, until large hail or tornado warnings are in the mix...I need to clean dustbunnies, too..I am giving it a lick and a promise.

Wow, Jaycee, that weather is spread out over a wide area up there. The latest I saw was flooding in Iowa.

What did you do while power was out for nearly 8 hours? Do you have candles for light?

Oh, Jaycee, it's Always Upsetting to me to be without Electricity; you Handled it with a Good Attitude, which I will Try to Learn from. I'm Glad you had Flashlights and Candles. My Neighbor Told me that Many, Many Years Ago, the Electricity would Go Off Occasionally in the Area I Live in Now and be Off for Up to 2 Weeks; I would be Wanting to Freep So Badly I'd Probably Go Ape, Lol! (Although, Come to Think of it, they didn't have Computers then!) : )
