I had fried okra and greens with ham on Sunday..from the Cracker Barrel..My son and daughter in law picked up take out on the way to my house..Great timing! YUM I told them about our greens and okra discussion..LOL

I’ve only seen these once or twice. They must not grow in the hot central valley of California.

The street was lined with them on the way to my house in Goleta..Of course I was about 10 minutes from the ocean.
This picture was of a Los Angeles scene.

We have dogwood but no cherry or jacaranda trees here.

I caught it Saturday evening when I checked in just to read everyone’s posts, etc. Sometimes I like to check in and enjoy reading instead of posting myself.
