Jacaranda Tree

I loved it when these were blooming when I lived in
California.
I believe the pink one in my photo is a cherry tree..

I’ve only seen these once or twice. They must not grow in the hot central valley of California.

That tree is beautiful! I don’t think I have ever seen a lavender tree...it looks like a redbud, only lavender! I haven’t got your other pic. to open for me yet! Probably my computer, except thats the only one that won’t open..my luck!

Yes, that is a good pic of the jacaranda, looks almost like UCLA...? They are everywhere I look, everywhere I go in town today. In addition, the ground underneath is carpeted by the fallen blooms.

There is one street nearby completely lined with large, wide jacarandas for an entire block. The color is so intensely purple and luminous!!
