Thank you, Mama Bear, nice to see you too:):)
I had a blessed, event-filled Easter. I was confirmed at the Easter Vigil Mass the night before Easter Sunday. My six adult classmates were also baptized, before we were all confirmed together and had First Communion.
I keep replaying all the details of the Mass and the night in my head, and it is still the subject of conversation at church:). I hope you had a wonderful Easter also!!!

Yes, my dentist used to give me a RX for Halceon. I would take one an hour before my appt.
I didn't remember anything. Now, he says he can't do that anymore - as he would have to be a licensed conscious sedation dentist, and his insurance would go through the ceiling. He can't even use that nitrous oxide anymore. What are people like me who have a true phobia supposed to do? I get terribly ill for days before the appt. I even get intestinal trouble, and bladder trouble. I won't go into detail, but trust me, it's REAL bad. I know why I have a phobia - but that doesn't make it better. And, yes. I have even tried hypnosis. I didn't mind taking the pill. My friends would take me and pick me up and I wouldn't remember a thing. Why can't all dentists do that anymore?

Yes, we had a nice Easter too. I love this time of year! But it could warm up a bit more for my tastes.
We're going to Panda Express tonight to try the new Beijing Beef that they've been advertising. That just sounds like it will hit the spot. I like their orange chicken too. I'm hungry.....that's why I changed the subject to food. LOL. :-)

You poor thing! Phobias are very real and they can be debilitating and often paralizing. You are not alone. Maybe people have a phobia about going to the dentist. You definitely need to find a dentist who can do conscious sedation. I sure hope you manage to find one before a dental visit becomes an emergency.

I just thought of something.....considering the ridiculous cost of anesthesia, it would be much cheaper for you to fly here and have my dentist do the conscious sedation thing and then fly back home. But, considering what he charges, the plane ticket would probably be the least expensive part it. ;-)

My brother has a phobia or something? about the dentist. He says he almost pulls the arms off the chair. He also jumped up and left one dentist office as he kept telling her she was hurting him and she kept on so he got up and got out of there. And I seem to remember one dentist told him they couldn’t work on him when they found out how scared he was...now this is from a great big man, who has had triple by pass surgery, several stomach operations and recently had one of those heart things put in (like Dick Cheney’s apparatus). I know what its called but at the moment I can’t think. Its more than a pace maker!

Dita, My son and DIL are taking me out for Japanese tomorrow night. The other son will be out of town until late Thursday and he called tonight to say he was sorry he couldn't be here. They are so sweet. He's the one who called early this morning to see if there was anything special he could get me for my birthday. I told him a hanging fern for the patio and he said "no, Greg and I always get you two of those for Mother's Day and I don't want to get you a fern for your birthday. I used to spoil them rotten and they are returning the favor!
One Mother's day they got me the two hanging ferns because I put them on both sides and from then on I told them not to worry about getting me anything but the two ferns on Mother's Day.

Good evening, Meg.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers
Sorry I've taken so long to answer.
I needed to attend a PTA meeting earlier.
Good news .... I didn't get scratched or bitten tonight! ;^ )
Mr. Mittens ate some dry cat food tonight.
Maybe he realized I'm not going to continue letting him be finicky.
Thanks for your prayers.

I will tell him about using the warm milk. He enjoys his morning cereal and likes the original Shredded Wheat.

Our dogs are large and it is easy to get pills down them.
We break a hot dog in half and push the pill down in it. I don’t think Millie or Max either one chew the hot dog so they don’t even know there was anything there.
I’m not sure whether we could get a liquid down them or not.

Hey, LIR.
Great to see you this evening. Has he left already?
Tell Tom that everyone at Amy’s Place thinks he should run right out and get you some shredded wheat.
Hope you are doing better!
Hugs.

Not yet, but Marissa will insist we get them for him if it will make him more comfortable.
I swear that that cat is spoiled after 1 1/2 weeks of hand feeding and rocking. ;^ )
