It’s very cute, jaycee..,Thank you..
That picture of Sassy is about 3 years old..Trubble was a mess ..Even when he wasn’t in my room..he did not want anyone else in my room..Sometimes there would be 3 or more racing around and he couldn’t preserve his territory, though. Those 5 kittens could make life interesting!

Graphic by Billie
Sunwink
Ive always loved the sunset,
A bow upon the day,
Thats been wrapped up in lovingness,
All set to put away.
To place among the memories,
Of happy days gone by,
For times when things dont go so well,
On days that make you cry.
A sunrise is as lovely,
But colder is its way,
More distant in the joyfulness,
That happens every day.
Though lens cant separate them,
The difference is this,
The sunrise is a promise,
And sunset is a kiss.

Finding Jesus
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Rev. 3:20
If I asked the question, Wheres Waldo? you might recall those popular childrens picture books from the 1980s. That little guy in the red-and-white-striped shirt and hat loved to hide in the pages amid a busy blur of images that made it nearly impossible to find him.
Thankfully, finding Jesus is a lot easier than finding Waldo. Jesus doesnt play hide-and-seek. He says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock (Rev. 3:20). You can find Him at the door of your heartthe core of your existencewaiting to come in. He doesnt just want to meet you at church, or to be kept at bay on the outer edges of your life. Rather, He longs to be in the center of your dreams, deliberations, and desires. He wants a real relationship with the real you.
And as wonderful as that is, I need to warn you that it may be a little unsettling. Your heart is no doubt harboring a few things that He will want to deal with. But there is nothing that is more valuable than intimacy with Him. Welcome Jesus in and He will clear out the clutter until the air is fragrant and fresh with the purity, power, and pleasure of His presence.
Whos knocking at your hearts door? Its Jesus! How wonderful is that! Sweetest of all of lifes blessings,
Communion with Christ above,
Assured of His constant presence,
His matchless, eternal love. Anon.
Jesus is standing at the door of your heartwelcome Him in!

Well, I don't have a pretty graphic. I don't have a nice poem. I haven't had an inspiration for a new cartoon in nigh on to 3 years. So.. what about a mental picture of something you may have heard on the radio in 1948:
Keen eyes fixed on a flying target.
A gleaming arrow set against a raw-hide string.
A strong bow bent almost to the breaking point.
And then.......
Straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaight Arrow!
To friends and neighbors alike, Steve Adams
appeared to be nothing more than the young
owner of the Broken Bow Ranch.
But, when evil-do'ers plotted against justice
and danger threatened innocent people,
Steve Adams rancher disappeared and in his
place stood the legendary figure of:
Straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaight Arrow!
(the sound of horse's hooves thundering out of the secret cave)
Kaw-nee-wah Fureeeeeeee!

N-A-B-I-S-C-O Nabisco is the name to know.
For a breakfast you can't beat,
try Nabisco Shredded Wheat.
These were the large biscuits of shredded wheat and in between the layers of biscuits there was a cardboard divider with "Injun" lore on it. On the back of the box was an order form for a signal arrowhead or a tom-tom or some other really "swell" item.

Lemon Day What a coincidence! We harvested our lemons this weekend and I juiced them all. Took forever, there must have been over a hundred.......but now I have enough frozen lemon juice to last through the year. Fresh lemonade for everyone at Amy's Place this summer!!! :-)

Mr KM update ...
If you could see my hands you would know he is much stronger!
He gets his antibiotics twice a day; vet said not to give on an empty stomach.
RIGHT!!
Yesterday I cut his supplement down to twice a day to coincide with his medication.
About 4:30 yesterday he came to the door crying everytime he heard someone.
I ignored him until about 5:30.
Then I opened a fresh can of cat food and put it out for him.
He sniffed it a couple of time and I left.
When I checked back about 10 minutes later, he was eating.
Of course, I received more scratches when we gave him his medication.
I need thicker gloves!
This morning, he was crying again
We gave him more of the supplement before giving him his medication.
I left part of a can of food plus Marissa's left over eggs with him.
I will check later to see if he ate anything.
I know your prayers are helping. Thank you.

Terrific graphic and poetry. It set the mood, along with the windows through which we view past, present and future.

FWIW, Amy, in the past when I had sick kittens I gave them human baby food. Chicken puree for 2 yr olds is the best. Cats always hate to take medicine or have syringes, plungers, etc. in their mouth. I hope that part of it is over soon, but try the baby food on him. My opinion, eggs might not be so good for him, better to stick with chicken, turkey and later fish.
To: La Enchiladita
Good morning, La Enchiladita.
The canned food that he was eating last night was chicken.
I don't think he has eaten anything so far this morning.
When I go to the store, I will get some baby food for him.
I will also pick up a different dry cat food.
Thanks for the info.
Hope you are having a beautiful day.
It is still nice here but the mornings are kinda cool.
