Mr KM update ...
If you could see my hands you would know he is much stronger!
He gets his antibiotics twice a day; vet said not to give on an empty stomach.
RIGHT!!
Yesterday I cut his supplement down to twice a day to coincide with his medication.
About 4:30 yesterday he came to the door crying everytime he heard someone.
I ignored him until about 5:30.
Then I opened a fresh can of cat food and put it out for him.
He sniffed it a couple of time and I left.
When I checked back about 10 minutes later, he was eating.
Of course, I received more scratches when we gave him his medication.
I need thicker gloves!
This morning, he was crying again
We gave him more of the supplement before giving him his medication.
I left part of a can of food plus Marissa's left over eggs with him.
I will check later to see if he ate anything.
I know your prayers are helping. Thank you.

FWIW, Amy, in the past when I had sick kittens I gave them human baby food. Chicken puree for 2 yr olds is the best. Cats always hate to take medicine or have syringes, plungers, etc. in their mouth. I hope that part of it is over soon, but try the baby food on him. My opinion, eggs might not be so good for him, better to stick with chicken, turkey and later fish.

What wonderful news, Amy....In my mind I felt maybe on Monday things would start looking up. Eating is so great, even if its a small amount. God Bless you, Marissa, and Mr. Kitty M. That kitty doesn’t know how many people are hoping and praying for him....!

I think it's time to give Kitty Mittens some (ahem) control around the house:

Thanks for the Mr. KM update. Glad to hear he seems to be getting stronger. I think dita's suggestion about trying baby food for him is a good idea. At one point I was giving Chachi strained Gerber's meat.....can't remember why now, but he liked it, and I figured it can't hurt if it is pure enough for babies. I would think you just had a really finicky cat, but if he was on the street before he came to you, one would think that he would be grateful for any kind of food.
I don't envy you trying to get medicine into him. We had to do that with Chachi and it was a huge battle every time.
