We'll Make Ya Famous

Feeling depressed, unnoticed and un-liked? Tired of being a nobody with no one? Well we've got just the remedy for you. Simply go insane and kill a bunch of innocent people and we'll go ahead and write you into the annuals of US history. Maybe you'll beat the current record body count, maybe you won't, but it is our mission statement to you that we will make you famous either way.

While your planning your onslaught, please write down any and all of your nut case theories, stories, opinions, and anything else that is weighing heavy on your mind. We'll give it all worldwide news coverage for you and make sure we get your message out. There will not be a man woman or child in the world with a TV or computer that will not hear your “manifesto” of lunacy. Please include pictures, audio, and video and we will be sure to broadcast it all for you. Please no nudity, lets keep this a family show.

Disclaimer: At times we may cover your propaganda with the aid of someone who has a PHD in “something”-ology to attempt to justify your insanity. This is nothing personal against you, and in all cases will be completely ridiculous and worthless drivel. It is simply a tactic that allows us to extend the length of the air time for your material. This reminds me, please in your “information packet” you leave for us, list any and all medications(both legal and illegal) you are pumping into your body, and the moment you last took them. This will help us greatly in extending the above mentioned coverage.

We would prefer to have live interviews with you after the fact when you get out of prison, or the mental institution (if our PHD was successful in justifying your illness), but if you feel it necessary to kill yourself during your sociopathic frenzy I guess we cannot stop you.

As for your planning, please take note of our coverage of past maniacal rampages on innocent civilians. Here we will layout their varying levels of success, and the contributing factors. This will include important details such as weapons of choice, what to wear, and most importantly best places to strike. We wouldn't want you walking into say a hunter's education class, or something along those lines. Your safety is of great concern to our interests. We'll show you a plethora of soft targets, there weaknesses, and how no one in the near future plans on making them any less vulnerable.

Finally if your motivation isn't quite “there” yet. Once again take note of past coverage, and we will show you where to seek out sickos with sicko ideas such as yours who can help you cultivate your dark side and finish your journey. From the Internet, to which movies and music, we'll get you headed in the right direction.

We look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

The American Media

Sadly, this is all too true, and maybe even understated.

Yep. Inasmuch as it was dollars that motivated NBC, I hereby coin the phrase “money is the root of future evil”.

Brian Williams said that the decision was to gain a better understanding of the killer. Were that the case, they could have transcribed the matter in text and let people pour over it and opine until the end of days. Instead, NBC chose to sh*t on the families and friends of the victims and guarantee future “multimedia” presentations from sickos and terrorists, IMHO...

Hate to say it, but the stuff NBC let out is full of little pearls. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18187368/ Their titles are varied and hard to match with their content: “all of You”, “am al qaeda”, “anti terror”, “as time appr”, “blood of inno”, “congrad”, “could b victim.” The rambling comments are those of an angry young man who felt persecuted, who felt that the world is against him, who felt he was a victim of personal terrorism. And this from Yahoo news: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20070419/tts-uk-crime-usa-shooting-korea-ca02f96_1.html "They bought the tiny shop with the money my son-in-law made in Saudi Arabia before he got married," Kim said. In my mind, this stuff NEEDS to be told, so we KNOW that this "wasn't a terrorist incident". I'm getting a little sick of the media, and so-called "authorities" saying "No connection to terrorism". If this is a "Not Terrorism" incident then it's just one more in a string of "not terrorism" incidents. I say BULL!

This fits in so well the MSM template of blame: First blame human intervention, second blame capitlaism and third blame America.
