Yep. Inasmuch as it was dollars that motivated NBC, I hereby coin the phrase “money is the root of future evil”.
Brian Williams said that the decision was to gain a better understanding of the killer. Were that the case, they could have transcribed the matter in text and let people pour over it and opine until the end of days. Instead, NBC chose to sh*t on the families and friends of the victims and guarantee future “multimedia” presentations from sickos and terrorists, IMHO...
