TMZ post 43 is worth the trip and read as it has been written by someone who is either closely aligned with the case (pr person? by either HKS or LB?) or a someone who has carefully followed and investigated the case.
I am leaning towards that post is a pro that is closely involved...it is well written enough it could have been a freeper but then it would have been posted here first. We should invite “Trisha” to join us as she would be a great addition :)
sorry to reply so late - i ws going back over LB's testimony the end of Feb in Seidlin's court.
He said that he talked to Anna about her mom and sometimes she wanted to go see her and sometimes she didn't.
He admitted on the stand (2/26 or 27), (and probably because the emails were floating around) that Anna had told him in an email 'I want my mommy' - this was around the time of DL's birth, according to Birkhead.
My personal opinion, taking into consideration what the nannies said about Anna repeatedly telling HK to get gone, was that she might have wanted her mom to help her get rid of HK.
Virgie must have had a premonition, because when she went to visit Dan's grave, she tried to see her daughter and HK wouldn't let her in.
I can't help but think, things would have been much different, if Virgie had made it inside that gate...can you just picture her, cuffing HK with Bahama police officers as back-up? lol
I agree that it certainly clarifies her behavior . . . even to always having a man on her arm.
I’m curious about its origin, also. I found the info on a blog while Googling. It appeared to be a long-standing blog and I had to approach in a backdoor manner to access that particular post. The first attempt brought up a 404 error page. I don’t have a link.
I think we can safely say the writing did not come from within Virgie’s family.

THIS is what really gets me. It’s not for a couple of days or weeks, but until June 8! DL’s best interests, I think not.
It’s probably HKS playing both sides against the middle. Virgie just doesn’t seem like the type to play dirty pool.

I`m sure he feels betrayed, stabbed in the back, by this woman, you know, this very sort of lovely, very sort of grandmother-looking woman, all of a sudden saying, "Actually, Larry, no, now I`m against you, and I want this, this and this and I want it now."

Carolyn....given that Virgie believes HKS is responsible for the deaths of both ANS and Daniel, why would you think that she had filed an appeal just to keep DL at Horizons WITH HKS? I guess I’m confused...why would she want that?
I wish we had a legal expert who understood custody/guardianship/visitation issues, as relates to DL and ANS’s estate, especially as regards Bahamian law. If there is no ‘reciprocal’ agreement (probably not the correct term) between the US and the Bahamas, why is it necessary, for Virgie to ‘finalize’ these issues there as opposed to the US? Why MUST she fight so hard to get these things settled in the Bahamas now, if any court order/agreement won’t hold water in the US? Or, will it?
There has got to be more to the story than we are understanding. I do not believe that Virgie has, just for spiteful reasons, been trying to keep DL in the Bahamas. She’s certainly not going to garner LB’s favor by doing so. There must be some legal reason for her to have to resolve this now and I think she is driven by her need to remove HKS from anything related now and in the future to ANS, Danny & DL.

maybe it wasn't a 'dig' at LB, at all, but someone else? I have a feeling that, by the time DL was born, Anna, had already been recapped on the 'clown video' day, by a certain very precious little girl...

The archives on Devin’s blog go back only to March. She is definitely pro HKS, but is an excellent writer. It’s difficult to understand how someone smart enough to write that well is taken in by the likes of The Goat.
I’ve been Googling around, but everything so far leads back to the blog.
HK's comment today was just as strange; Tony Potts reporting that, talking to HK, he asked him if he was going to write a card, or a little note, something for DL to keep, to remind her of him in her life. Potts said, that HK said that he wasnt going to do that, that he didn't expect that he would be out of her life.
Back during Seidlin's court, LB had remarked, sometime around the 'secret meeting', that HK had sent him a 'text message' (quoting) and that the msg said, 'do yu want to raise the baby together'. I'm not sure why LB felt compelled to relay that to us, while assuring us there was 'no deals'. even back then.
LB: I am a California resident - if I get the daughter that I know if mine - will she have to travel a long way to see her mother? ...serious matter of exhuming body of Daniel...California...was her home...that's where I would prefer her to be...since her son passed away I know he didn't want to go to the Bahamas. LB: I don't want to separate the mother from the child, but I don't want them (ANS/Daniel) in the Bahamas - so having a difficult decision....

3/2/7 - Stern has kept up the pressure on Birkhead, actually presenting him with contracts, sources say, in which Birkhead would join Stern for more exclusive interviews on "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider."
"Larry said the baby's guardian (Richard Milstein) should sign the papers for him and the baby, but (Milstein) wouldn't. So then Larry wouldn't."

If you don't look at the whole picture of Virgie, you're going to miss the boat.
She raised Danny for 6 years and was denied being present at his funeral. One of the cruelest things I've heard of in my life.
She raised Anna until Anna decided she didn't like rules. She went to live with her aunt. She got pregnant. She was stripping and she took off again leaving that little baby behind WITH MOM.
She got into drugs and wound up marrying a 90 year old man (who was on his death bed) and had an awful lot of money. Then the Danny became useful. Anna's diary switches from love to money at the drop of a dime.
I think Virgie did everything she could to keep Anna on track but Anna is easily swayed because Anna only cared about Anna.
The facts are, Larry is the father but the bloodline runs through the mother. Howard wants Virgie with "no rights"...none, zip, 0.
It's not a hate thing...(he has no feelings)...it's a legal thing and there's more here than meets the eye. Dannie Lynn and Virgie are blood relatives and that's her grandchild.
If your daughter got pregnant and you knew little about the father, and he said "go away grandma", what would you do? Remember, Anna wasn't married to Larry. Being a parent is not "ownership".
Virgie and Dannie Lynn are the only two REAL PEOPLE in this whole mess. Larry might be a nice guy...but
i think one thing they are Under=reporting, is that the birth cert has to be signed off on, to get the passport. The official who was supposed to sign off the birth cert, didn't come in today, and isn't expected to come in Friday, either. Without the birth cert, the passport can't be issued.
