Thread Number Two
Thanks for that link - and I am off til tonight - will be work lurking as I can. Cary on all!
I've heard of valium comas, so surely Xanax or others can do that. Dalmane? Her tolerance was so high, the doses would be huge.
I receive hormone injections in the buttock. My husband gives them, no way I could do it myself. Once we were out of needles and waiting on WalMart to get them in and my husband re-used a needle. The doctor I work for about had apoplexy when I told him about it, said never, ever re-use a needle, even on yourself, even if sterlized.
As far as Moe's statement. KE was right there (YES??). She put his "old fashioned ice bath story" into Moe's mind....That's where he learned it...not from Grandma.
I don't think Moe even mentioned KE in ANY of the early interviews. Best guess: Howard told him what to say when he got to the hospital later in the day.
So it's not rat poison?
Day 1 Tishrei, 5767
Rosh Hashanah Day 1
I showed this to my bf. He said it's people like that rat bastard that gives Jews a bad name :( I did get him to watch Greta Van Susteren last night, and he was very impressed with Don Hogan. Aaaargh, I'm two days behind on this thread!!
and if, as the article states, she took it the night before, she was dead all night and all morning.... and HKS didn't detect something was wrong before going to get the boat?
It's the main toxin in some kinds of rat poison.
Caring For Anna Nicole Smith's Baby in the Bahamas
By Susan Hatch
Mar 23, 2007
As Anna Nicole Smith baby Dannielynn Hope has her DNA shipped to America so she can finally have a real father exactly who is caring for the infant girl in the Bahamas? Is she safe behind the gated walls? How is her health? Us Weekly magazine reports in this week's magazine (due out Friday) that the little one is being cared for by a variety of people. In an item from the magazine, Us reports:
Who is Caring For Anna Nicole Smith's Baby in the Bahamas?
As her potential guardians duke it out in court, Dannielynn Smith (born on September 7) is being cared for in her native Bahamas by two local nannies and Stern (who didnt show for the March 16 custody hearing). Shes a sweet baby who laughs a lot and loves to be held, a source tells Us. Though Stern has sole custody (he was spotted taking her to a doctor on March 15), the source says that, verdict pending, Birkhead will likely visit with Dannielynn soon.

One can only hope. Her grandmother - yes we are sure she is her grandmother says that though she had not seen her daughter in years, Texas-based Virgie Arthur, 55, tells Us she has Anna Nicoles best interests - and those of Dannielynn - at heart.
Dannielynn is the most important thing in the world to me, the retired police officer tells Us. I want to make sure any money that comes to her is put in a trust fund. Stern words Howard knows hes not Dannielynns father, she tells Us. Maybe hell say he made a promise to [Anna] that hed protect her baby. But well only have his word.

Remember, Anna was found naked. Wonder where the clothes that she last wore are??? Wonder what evidence was left on the sheets/comforter? And why the hell was her mouth covered up?? Was she on her side, her stomach or back??
Yes it is about pigs - but it good info in it
Preventing Abscesses at Injection Sites.
The most common way that injection practices can contribute to the occurrence of abscesses is through the use of dirty needles and other unsanitary injection practices. Only clean needles should be used for injection purposes. Between injections, the syringe and needle should not be placed on dirty surfaces. Instead, a clean pan or tray lined with fresh paper towels should be prepared for syringe and needle storage during injection procedure. The protective plastic shield that covers all new disposable needles may also be replaced over the needle when not in use. When in doubt about the cleanliness of a needle, it may be swiped with alcohol using absorbent paper or cotton. However, alcohol should not be drawn into the interior of the injection needle as it may affect the potency of vaccines or antibiotic drugs.
The injection site should be inspected before inserting the needle. If the site is dirty or damp, it should be swiped clean and dry before injection. When the site is dirty, the injection needle may carry contaminants and bacteria from the skin into the tissue, increasing the risk of abscess formation. Steps should also be taken to avoid contamination of medication vials. When reloading a syringe from a multi-dose vial, a separate needle should be used to pass into the rubber vial stopper than the one used to inject the pigs.
The number of pigs treated before changing to a fresh needle is a judgement call for producers and herdsmen. If the needle and injection sites are clean, multiple sets of pigs may be treated with the same needle. However, under dirty conditions, frequent changes to a fresh, sterile needle is advisable. When processing baby pigs, a good practice is to change needles between each litter.
Anna Nicole Smith Death: High Doses of Sleeping Pills in System, Claim
By Brenda Jones
Mar 23, 2007
While the world waits for Broward County, Fla., Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Perper to reveal in a press conference what caused the death of Anna Nicole Smith a report out now claims that Anna Nicole Smith died with a toxic level of the sleeping medication chloral hydrate in her system. A joint investigation from the Star Magazine and the National Enquirer claims to have the answers of what happened in the days leading up to and the former Playboy Playmate's cause of death.
Anna Nicole Smith Death: High Doses of Sleeping Pills in System, Claim
According to a detailed report published on the website of the the Star, Anna Nicole had a raging blood infection. The infection was caused by an unsterilized needle and contributed to her death. The report also claims that contrary to speculation, tests show Anna Nicole did not have methadone or any other painkilling drug in her system at the time of her death.
***
The report: The Enquirer learned that just before she left the Bahamas for Florida on February 5, three days before she died, Anna Nicole received an injection in her left buttock. Tests did not reveal what that substance was.
"As she boarded the plane for Miami, Anna Nicole developed a painful abscess at the site of the injection," said a source with knowledge of the case. "The needle wasn't sterile. The pain kept getting worse as the abscess got larger and larger very quickly." As the needle-caused infection took over her body, she began vomiting, had severe diarrhea and could not urinate.

The report speculates that if Anna had made a trip to the hospital she might have been saved. Earlier reports had claimed that Smith did not wish to have the publicity of a hospital visit. She should have gone of course, she reportedly had a fever of 105 degrees. Star Magazine has a full and detailed report that is a must read here.

That's incredible. Will the media continue to cover for the Kennedys? How about those pages that are blacked out? Speculation that they refer to JFK.
What will Dr. Perper have to say about this when NG interviews him tonight? (If he's on.)
And what about that baby bottle that Mo spoke of in an interview?
Makes you wonder how easy it would be to taint human food supply. Pet food is bad enough.
Ok Sara!
Congrats on post#9000 looks like this will be another 25k thread;)
If this has been said then sorry :)
If Anna was so much pain from an abscess from an injection...She had a Dr., Nurse and EMT with her.
You mean none of these medical professionals felt a need to get her to a hospital?
None of them knew about possible sepsis or were concerned about the abscess?
Regardless of her not wanting to go to the hospital, it seems any of these professional people could have convinced her of the seriousness, or for that matter just called for EMT to transport her against her will..
That is, if they were at all concerned about her health!
The LAST person he called in was KE and she was asked to bring something to him. She made a mistake by saying that his results would be more or less ambiguous (My word). She couldn't know that. She had left Anna 12-24 hours before.
