I've heard that he can stay in 8 month increments. If he leaves the island like he did we he went to FLA the 8 months starts again. So when did he leave FLA? He's got 8 months minus that in which to stall these proceedings.

It's the changing their stories part that worries me. But how do they mitigate statements as condemning as those in that affidavit? People will be more inclined to believe her affidavit than what she says later. No matter how many witnesses Stern brings in to slander her reputation. After all, these are Bahamians and Stern's slander of one of their own probably won't go down well with those jurors.

At most he had three or so days in California. I understand hating hotels but what does 3-4 days in California get you - answer working on the DNA/Ohio thing and making up with Opri! I had been wondering why LB wanted to hightail it out of the Bahamas after quickly giving testimony at the inquest that never happened and now I think we know - just a thought

Way too many "coincidences" in this case.

Greta has covered this case well. But what is with Gloria Allred? I used to think she was tough. But yesterday she made really stupid statements that made no sense. She came across as incompetent, not a lawyer I would hire. Greta just dismissed her points. Did she really say regarding release of DNA, "it's not going to happen"? Maybe I misheard. Thinking back, there were many occasions when she responded to questions with just words and no substance.

That isn't what they said the other day. They specifically stated this case could eventually go all the way to England for settlement.

Howard's trying to peak behind all the doors to see what's there...But all the doors are numbered "0".

It's a dilemma...It's the BEST choice of "bad" choices and I think it means coming back to the USA.

So, Larry will get the baby, Thompson will get the "cloud" out of his life and Howard is no longer on the witness list in the Bahamas.

MICHAEL HOOPER MOVES ON UP

Congratulations to Michael Hooper, the natural son of King Eric Gibson, the Bahamian musician and brother to Shane Gibson, the Minister of Immigration. Mr. Hooper was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Wyndham Resort. His previous job was that of General Manager of the British Colonial Hilton. He did a creditable job there, and obviously as the Bahamar project develops in Cable Beach they would be looking for Bahamian talent. Congratulations to Mr. Hooper.

I hear ya. And you're right. I think the cloud is gonna move over Howards head tho once he gets back here. Why would they (the Feds) let this quack ME with a bump on his head tell them "there's nothing to see here. it's an accident. everyone move on please."

The lady running IHKSAM site may have placed her finger on why Wecht melted down and went after Virgie with so much vengence this week. Chloral Hydrate.

She points out Wecht has always insisted Daniel only had three drugs in his system (and glossed over the Methadone)... when he actually had 7 and some like the Methadone were 7 - 8 times the norm.

What I think she nailed that is important though, is you don't find chloral hydrate unless you specifically look for it.

Said they only checked ANS after the fact for this drug and since it is such an off the wall drug Wecht and the Bahamian coroners may not have looked for this drug and an exumation of his body to look for this could end up being devestating for Team Stern if it did reveal Daniel actually died from an OD of chloral hydrate ---- note: would explain his sudden sleepiness.
