Well this is the live thread for Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica.. Basically for people who lives in the Eastern and Central times zones. There will be another thread for the Western Time Zone...
So say we all..
If he can get permission to watch it....
Cold blooded Freepers would call them illegals...
or have them shot down...
True.....
I believe Adama put somebody in their place
I agree.. You either shape up or ship out..
Some observations on the show...
Humanity must decide if they are any better than the Cylons who exterminated them Should they indulge themselves in moral superiority in order to feel better about their existance or should they try to guarantee their survival by erasing the threat? Can they afford to risk bringing the Cylons with them to Earth?
Sharon is likely to become infected.
Number 6 will become infected as well setting up a conflict for Baltar. However, I did find it curious that she made no objections or challenge to Baltar's findings after he claimed to see nothing.
Adama proved he's the big dog.
Tigh is a broken man. Interesting to see how they work this. Starbuck seems over her BS.
I'm really appalled at how many people here are having knee-jerk reactions and taking the show the wrong way. This is not supposed to be anti-Bush or anti-American or anti-WoT. I have never read or heard anything from Ronald D. Moore or David Eick that implied any kind of political slant coming from them (I have met them both a couple of times now). I've always seen the Cylons as a group of religious fanatics who are trying to convert their enemies by force - sounds more like Islamofascists to me.
The fact that the humans are polytheistic while the Cylons are monotheistic is meant to show that the humans have a culture of diversity and differentiation not unlike that in America. And the Cylons can only focus on one thing, which is their fundamental and violent beliefs.
Also, when it came to the election last season, I found it very, very clear that Laura Roslin represented conservative ideals while Gaius Baltar was more in line with the secular progressives. And wouldn't you know it: Gaius won (eventually), and let the Cylons march in and take over. Just like what would happen if a "secular progressive" got elected here.
Ditto on all points...
I think that some people who was complaining really never watched the show from the begining.. You are right and that is how I saw the show from the begining...
Very cool!
Yep & I agree.
I think something will happen that removes the choice while the humans are still divided.
Sharon is likely to become infected.
If she does, could be the way finishing off the Cylons could present itself. Sending her back to the hive... but would she agree to it?

I found it to be curious too, though it seems the 6 is more in tune with "god" than the other models, save their "ship" & the ship felt it was wrong to leave the infected ship.
Adama proved he's the big dog.
Was there ever any doubt?
Tigh is a broken man. Interesting to see how they work this.
Tigh crawled into a bottle when he thought Ellen was among those lost in the initial attack. He began to crawl out of it until she was found. He'll be back at some point, stronger than ever.
Starbuck seems over her BS.
I agree.
very good
Not necessarily. Because what happens after they find Earth? Especially if both sides find Earth? Is Earth even in a technological situation where it matters? There's a lot of potential story ideas, just so long as they avoid EVERY story used in Galactica 80.
They both arrive on earth circa 15000 BC -- the antediluvian civilization is gone and humanity has slid into the "stone age".
I want to forget Galactica 80...
My prediction...they both find Earth, the Cylons can't survive there, and then we go to the next series, which takes place at a time before the current series.
No doubt so does Glenn Larsen.
