We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
I'm back. Nice, quiet time along the beach, but way too short. Kids were picked up from the airport last night, and they look like they've been to Florida, complete with the requisite sunburn (not too bad, either of them).
In the news...
The Evil One is promising a long war with the United States and has, in his latest video tape, promised to make war upon civilians. He has also called upon his supporters to combat the UN "peacekeeping" force located in the Sudan.
The Evil One's logic for attacking civilians is that the civilians are supporting their governments' new Crusades upon the Mid-East.
Oil prices are easing back from their recent highs of $75/bbl.
Meanwhile, both Senate Majority Leader Frist and Speaker Hastert are engaging in a major cover thy six and blame someone else because it wasn't my fault game. Both leaders are blasting the President for not doing enough about high gasoline prices--well, Congress, where's the drilling in ANWR? Where's the additional refining capacity allowance?
And the daughter of the founder of Earth Day says gas prices are not nearly high enough (she doesn't say what "high enough" is).
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
No doubt about it. You ARE busy with all those little ones.
Do watch it if it ever comes on again. It's good.
Yippee...and you will be busier. LOL
BRB Taking Sarah to work.
I've never watched a talent show before and really did like it a lot; it also got me exercising more because the music energized me. ABC plans to have another segment of the show but I don't know when it will start. It was a huge hit.
Pretty cold temps expected here tomorrow...
lysie, you must be feeling better....
kay, thanks for the concert comments...next season, the chorus celebrates 50 years of singing: special events planned...
Off to find some links...
Congrats! Wow , your family is sure helping produce future conservatives;^))
RT is at 92% BUT the cream of crop of RT (which is what I like.. it is the premier critics) is at 100!
The only highly rated RT I have NOT seen this year, is Brokeback...
did you see the Three Funerals of Melquides Estrada (sp approx?)? Tommy Lee Jones.
..but I like movies, whether I rent them or go see them.
...but there is just a dearth of good movies anymore, IMO.--not much worth paying several bucks for.
I want to see the Sentinel..because of '24's Keifer Sutherland...
..and I will go see United 93...
..but that's all that grabs me right now.
I will never rent Brokeback Mountain...
..but I will watch most anything Tommy Lee Jones is in!!!!
I do check on Rotten Tomatoes site....sometimes I agree, sometimes I dont'...but it's entertaining, and they give a good 'finals' list of box office numbers for the movies....
I've been listening to a lot of Mozart lately....so I would like to watch Amadeus..again...that was a well made movie.
