TOM Cruise has claimed he will eat the PLACENTA after fiancée Katie Holmes has their baby.
The actor, 43 who wants her to give birth in silence according to his Scientology cult rules said: Im gonna eat the placenta, too.
I thought that would be good. Very nutritious. Im going to eat the cord and the placenta right there.
But when a GQ magazine interviewer said it would be a big meal, Cruise replied: OK, maybe I wont.

Next, Liberals will be actually eating babies. Very nutritious, no doubt. Very Progressive. About as civilized as fire ants.
Shades of Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal...
God help us, God prod the consciences of such as this, Amen!

FACT: There are a lot of evil, sick people in this world.
OPINION: As for the Hollywood darlings; they enjoy their names in the press as long as their names are spelled right. Regarding Cruise, if he's in a movie; I'm not going to see it.

He's officially far off the deep, deep end. I wasn't sure I could be shocked by celebrities any more and then Tom opened his mouth to a GQ interviewer.

Interesting. Why do you want to do that?

He clearly doesn't have any idea of what he's getting into. A placenta for a full-term baby is about the size of a dinner plate, and 1.5 to 2 inches thick. And the cord is long! And it's fibrous and rubbery.
Go ahead, Tom. The doc will save the placenta in a big ole stainless steel bowl so he can check to make sure it all made it out. Pull the curtain and enjoy your five pounds of placenta and two feet of cord in peace.
Those must be some seminars he's running for her "undereducated" family.

This looks like it was meant as a sarcastic joke and was quoted out of context, like he was ridiculing the stories about the Scientology silent birth and tried to show how ridiculous it was by throwing in something even sillier.
Please understand, however, that I do not mean to imply that Tom isn't nuts. That would be a disservice to all his strenuous recent efforts. Just that even nutjobs can be quoted out of context.
