So few people admit to liking budweiser, but it is the worlds #1 selling brand.

When I was a kid, Stroh's, Narragansett & Genessee were cheap, so that's what we would buy.

Now I have a job, i won't touch any of them.

I'll bet that woudl work pretty well with Bass Ale, too. Sounds odd, but so does Lobster ice cream, which isn't half bad.

Last time I tried a beer someone said was absolutely the best was Amstel light. I absolutely HATED it. I'd rather not drink if that's all there was.

I do like red hook, good stuff!

I didn't think Amstell Light was terrible but it wasn't the best. I should have qualified the Red Hook statement with "in my opinion". Some people don't like bitter beers though, I think they are great, but I usually need a beer thats light so I can put more than six away. Someone hated Ultra on this thread. I think its pretty good after I run a marathon or after a game of pickup basketball (as their commercials suggest)better than Gatorade!

Favorite: Labatt Blue (hockey players beer)

Best: Beer, like wine, depends on circumstances;
campfire = Bud
after playing hockey or while watching hockey = Labatt Blue
cold winter days by the fireplace = Guinness Stout
over at the neighbors house = whatever they offer

Worst beer = the empty beer

Experiment = yes

Home brew = yes

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
Jack Handy

The perfect fart storm is Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, pickled eggs and regular Camels. You could throw in Polish sausage with onions and peppers, to multiply the effect.

I still think nothing quenches a lawn mowing thirst like a 33 degree bottle of industrial beer. Coors, Bud, Pabst, doesn't matter at that temperature.

And to think I thought it was a six pack of warm Pabst and a bag of Taco Bell bean burritos.

FReeper Coors employee checking in.
Not a beer drinker often, though. I prefer whiskey. Crown Royal.

What is your favorite brand or style?

The kind with Hops, Grain and Yeast.

What is the best beer you ever had? My version of Guiness is necter of the Gods.  4 additional ounces of Chocolate Malt makes all the difference.

What is the worst beer you ever had?

The empty kind, or one of the "Big 3"

Do you experiment with different types or stick to the tried & true?

If your buying, I'm drinking.

Do you home brew?

You could say that.

Cheers,

knewshound

On or off the Homebrewers Ping list? Let me know.

When I marinade jerk chicken I use a bottle of Ed's Cave Creek as a base for the other spices. Great!
