The mythbusters were checking a myth about the testing of airplane windshields.
The myth goes that they test windshields by firing chickens at them to simulate a bird strike. I forget who was trying to duplicate the test, but they were having the problem of all the chickens breaking the glass. The root of their problem was that they were using frozen chickens instead of thawed.
The mythbusters wanted to test this... so they made a chicken cannon.

I have a bad habit of writing "TP" on the grocery list. I can remember which one we need, but the wife doesn't know whether to get "toothpaste" or "toilet paper".
