Pcottraux's Tuesday FReeptoon

Belafonte certainly had this coming, didnt he?
And now, here is the bonus Dinkelmeyer toon:
This one is established the sort of exaggerated things based on real-life that I enjoy to this day. The FReeptoon where Donkey visits Moveon.org has its roots grounded in early cartoon like this one.
This is also, of course, how I remember without much fondness my own gym classes in Middle School. The gym at times felt like a horrible dungeon filled with hideous creatures who wanted to hurt you.

As usual, the full FReeptoons archives are at my homepage at the bottom.
Enjoy.

The price tag on the CD, like Bellafonte's ego, is over-inflated.

Great job with making Belafonte look exactly like the grinning baffoon he appears to be on TV.

I recall a time when Bellafonte actually sang.

What, hasn't he passed away yet? I thought he died years ago, crossed the River Styx in a Banana Boat.

I had never even drawn him before, but I was surprised what an easy caricature he was. Some people are very easy to draw and it looks a lot like them (Saddam Hussein and Jacques Chirac are others).

Not yet, I'm afraid. He's still got a few communist dictators to support before his time is up.

After hearing his voice the other day, I'm surprised he can even still talk.

LOL! "only 199.99" Hilarious!
LOL! It was funny to see Harry Belfonte (Who is he?) and Shark arguing over who to give the Royalties too (Vincent or Chavez).
I love how you made the Gym medievel looking. And it did indeed remind me of seeing Donkey go to Moveon.org. Sure felt that way indeed.

Good one. Belafonte is a TOOL. What a dupe. Easy to fool Harry, hanging out with the dictators.
To: Paul_Denton
Harry Belafonte. He was a huge calypso singer at one time. He's also a fanatical left-wing activist. He loves Fidel Castro.
A few days ago, he was standing next to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and praised Chavez, calling Bush "The World's Number 1 Terrorist and Dictator."

Dang, Belefonte has gotten more presstime during the Bush Administration than he did in the last 4 decades. That's pretty good for being a one-hit wonder. Good cartoons, keep up the good work. BTW, Chavez looks like a vampire bat.
