I thought this would be an interesting thread, finding out the first car freepers ever had.
If you have a picture of it post it as well!

Mine was a 1986 Chevy Celebrity, similar to this one:
Mine was TBI, and was quite easy to work on. I got it with 40k and retired it after I blew the trans at 180k.

I traded it in a brand new red 1972 MGB, which was incredibly difficult to keep running. At least I learned to put reliability over looks after that MG. In those days breaking down in an MG in Georgia meant you were well and truly stranded.

My first car was a motorcycle. 1984 Yamaha RZ350. Man what a blast. Ever ride a two-stroke twin sportbike in pouring down sleet?
Kept that thing for about twelve years(had other vehicles of course)

The ONLY car my mother was ever able to drive was a 57 push button dodge - yellow and white with those big fins. She drove it until it was impossible to find someone to repair the transmission - it had holes in the floor where it had rusted through.
We tried her with an automatic transmission, but she could never get the hang of it. I actually think my Dad was relieved when she quit driving.

1971 Olds Vista Cruiser Station Wagon. Think the 70's show. Bought it in 1981 from my folks. Sister bought a 66 Plymouth Fury Tank that I also drove. Both crapped out around the same time and we sold them to some guys at Santa Fe speedway in Willow Springs IL. We got to watch them get destroyed in a demolition derby.

I don't believe I've ever seen a hearse in baby blue, before. :)

Heh. Nice driving!
The '56 Pontiac, now that's a fairly rare car today. Did it have Powerglide, or the 3-on-the-tree?
Mine has the bone-stock 235 inline 6.
When I was about 19, and stupid, I got it up to 120 MPH...with no seat belts.
I'd never do that again.

You probably never will see another! :P

Ha ha, my first car was a 64 push button Rambler with the "Ram" knocked off it so we called it the"Blur." It was old and ugly. Bought it for $25.00 and sold it to the wrecking yard for $50.00..no profit as that thing in itself drove up the oil consumption of the US by 37%.

We had a Corvair when I was a child.
All I can ever remember about that car was that it broke down ALL THE TIME!!!

Mine was a 67 Chevy pickup, also 3 on a tree.
The 6 cylinder had been swapped out for a 327.
We used to drag race up from the church on Wednesday night.
