The Hobbit Hole XVII - A new road or a secret gate...
See our freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net home page! ^

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A new road or a secret gate...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I like how the music goes along with the flipping. Can't write it out, but you know what I mean...

There were mopeds. But no Sting. Yah, it was The Who. Pete Townsend played the lead role.

Well, crap. Turns out I was wrong on two counts. I looked it up and yes, Sting *was* in the movie, and Pete Townsend wasn't the lead. Dammit. :-)

But it did have mopeds.

the 36 inch arrow, now that I measure it, is less. 34 inches, overall, but that includes one inch nock/ and one inch point on the other end.

kind of new at this, sorry... but happy to be making the things!

Gracias!

I found it at downloadanime.org as a torrent, or if you like, freepmail me an email address and I'll send it to you (250 mb). And it's not licensed, so no guilt.

Good morning!

I had stuff to do first thing. Just getting time to check in...

Mmmm...coffee.

Just went up to work on a computer in the faculty office area. There was a note on the door saying "I'm blue!", and then underneath it in small letters "Blue voter - blue state - deeepressed!" Aw...ain't that special.

G'mornin! Just finished my second cup and am fixing to do some returns of stuff I'd ordered online. I need to de-clutter so I can get some cleaning up done before Christmas! Both older boys will be home by the end of next week! Woo Hoo!
