Fantasia's crying when she was done was a little too much for me. I mean, I know she's happy, but that seemed a little fakey to me. I'll have to wait 2 more hours to see it here in California. I don't like fake. That's why I enjoy Simon so much.

Is there something between Paula and Simon? My 10-year old daughter asked me tonight if they were married, or at least engaged. I sure missed that chemistry!

My daughter got me hooked the first night, when they were going thru all the TERRIBLE singers. I was hooked from that night on and already looking forward to next year.

Diana nailed it tonight...I thought her version of "Star" was much better than Fantasia's.

Yes, and he's painting the other bathroom tomorrow....the paint fumes are killing me.....isn't there an old trick of putting vanilla extract in the gallon of paint to reduce fumes?.....I can't take another room being painted!

LOL..........seeing and hearing with my own senses will be different than reading about it. It was my choice to read the thread. It didn't spoil it for me.
To: mystery-ak
You are such a slavedriver! He's working away, and here you are watching AI and FReeping. :-)
I hadn't heard that about vanilla but who knows, might work. What colors are you painting everything--or should I say what colors is HE painting everything??? (just kidding!)

Yes, I got hooked last year; Yes I remember during the Situation room threads we would update each other on the competition! That's when I got hooked too. Those threads brought out a grand number of FReepers...along with their critique as well...great times!

Hey Howlin, thanks for the ping. Haven't seen you since same time last year LOL!
Isn't Fantasia from your neck of the woods? Wondering if there's as much excitement as there was last year for Clay?
Heard Diana get tripped up in the last song. They changed the arrangement just enough to lengthen it and to throw her off - poor kid.

You supposedly can add baking soda to some paints to cut the odor.
I've never tried it. You could maybe have him put some paint in a cup, add a pinch or two of baking soda to that, stir 'til it quits bubbling or is mixed well, then paint a test swatch (to make sure that it's gonna dry okay with the baking soda added).

The salon is telling a different story; they say she came in with the infected nail and they warned her what might happen. It's a very respected salon, from what I read.
