Yes, and he's painting the other bathroom tomorrow....the paint fumes are killing me.....isn't there an old trick of putting vanilla extract in the gallon of paint to reduce fumes?.....I can't take another room being painted!

I hadn't heard that about vanilla but who knows, might work. What colors are you painting everything--or should I say what colors is HE painting everything??? (just kidding!)

You supposedly can add baking soda to some paints to cut the odor.

I've never tried it. You could maybe have him put some paint in a cup, add a pinch or two of baking soda to that, stir 'til it quits bubbling or is mixed well, then paint a test swatch (to make sure that it's gonna dry okay with the baking soda added).

Just mix some vinegar and hot water in a bowl, and let it sit out in the room he's painting. Should eat the odor up.
