The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

which is one reason why we are the Pothole Capital of the World. Did you hear about the town in Kentucky that was 'selling' potholes for Valentine's Day? You could name a pothole after your Valentine. Said they'd been getting calls from all over the country! Can't say as I'd be real thrilled to get THAT for Valentine's Day! Make a great gag gift, though!

Went grocery shopping to get dinner for the kitty. It turned out to be rather a nice day and since a few of my housplants are putting out leaves, I took 'em out on the patio...deck....balcony thingy and did some plant maintenance. I ended up watching a movie and going back to work in the den. With it snowing here all day today I'm sure all my plants were happy to be in the house. The dog's being obstinate. She doesn't want to *go* outside.

Why not hang on to your old shoes and use them for working in the yard? You can always duct tape the gaping parts! ;o)

Could definitely get Suzi and her family in on it...If y'all didn't mind waiting until 2005, we could have the whole Animoot gang here! We're gonna start our addition soon, and there will be LOTS of room them!

We just figured out we could fit you and Rosie and the sibs here right now, though it would be crowded! Folks would have to sleep on the basement floor, but it's carpeted, so that wouldn't be TOO bad! Let me think of when a good time would be. When are you on break from school, or could you some for just a weekend? Rosie and the sibs could drive down from VT in 5 hrs. or so, if she didn't mind that trip. Don't know if your Spring break would coincide with her school's break.

I really need to just let the things go. I need the closet space, if nothing else! But they're still in there as of tonight...

Are y'all forgetting that a New England moot would include Clan Seamus as well? lolBut y'all wouldn't need the overnight accomodations cause you're only an hour away! By the way, do YOU like Anime? This is the gang from Entmoot that was watching Anime all week. I think their plan is to watch Anime non-stop during Animoot!
You know, WE have to get together sometime, soon, since you're so close.

Couldn't guess his age, though. Anywhere from about thirty to forty or so...probably in the middle. Was it a wedding band? Maybe he's a widower, and just moved the ring from his left to his right hand.

I could pick you up from Manchester, Boston, OR Providence (that's where Seamus lives). They are each about an hour from my house.

He had a ring of sorts on his right hand instead of left...I'm assuming that means he's taken in some form. I wouldn't assume that at all.... I would guess it to be a class ring or an heirloom ring.
